Game One
Announcement:
The Trojan Varsity Football Team traveled to Waterford and played Pierce Middle School to a 24 - 6 victory yesterday. Jack Valentine scored on a 35 yard pass thrown by Ryan Lemanski. Ryan Lemanski threw a touchdown pass to Paul Forhan and Ryan rushed for a TD, too. The 2 point conversions were scored by Corbin Gibson, Ryan Lemanski, and Quinn Smolinski. Harrison Crawford caught a great pass, too out of the Trojan Horse Offensive formation.
The defense was anchored by Logan Nesbitt, Jake Frelich, Corbin Gibson, Paul Forhan, and Jack Valentine.
Our home opener is next Wednesday, Sept 19, against Geisler Middle School with a 4:00PM kick off.
Coach Singelyn would like the Trojan Varsity Football team to eat lunch in room 602 today. He would like to go over the Trojan Horse Offensive plays as players eat.
The Trojan JV Football Team lost to Pierce Middle School by the score of 24-20. The rushing touchdowns were scored by Melvin Bender, Ryan Mills, and Jack Malace.
Alex Valantine had a good game and Kirby Rice Jr. had a big hit, too.
Game Two
Announcement:
The Trojan Varsity Football Team woke up the hollowed ground of Tom Kopp Field with a 8-6 victory over Geisler Middle School and increased their record to 2-0. Down 6-0 and on their last drive Ryan Lemanski lead the team and converted a 4 down and 6 with his legs scrambling to the right. Jack Valentine scored on a running play to tie the game. Jack also scored the 2 point conversion for the win.
Jack Valentine had over 100 yards receiving. Ryan Lemanski had over 100 yards rushing. Corbin Gibson blocked well. Tyler Fueling did a great job snapping the ball from center.
Quinn Smolinski had a 50 yard punt that was downed at the 10 yard line at the end of the 3rd quarter.
On Defense
Harrison Crawford and Paul Forhan bottled up Geisler's quarterback. Jorge Avitia and Corbin Gibson had big hits. Carter Farr picked a pass. Logan Nesbitt had a tackle behind the line of scrimmage. Jake Frelich sealed the victory with an interception.
The Trojan JV Football Team lost to Geisler Middle School by a score of 16-6. Alex Valentine had a great all around game. Kirby Rice Jr. scored the touch down. Jason Scott had a fumble recovery. Matt Hurst and Ryan Mills lead the Trojan defense. Coach VanDike said it was a big step forward from last week.
There is no football practice today. From Coach Singelyn, "Get your homework done!"
Game Three
Announcement
The undefeated Trojan Varsity Football Team traveled to Mason Middle School yesterday and beat Mason 8-0 to increase their record to 3-0. The offense was led Ryan Lemanski, Jack Valentine, Paul Forhan, and Corbin Gibson. All four ran really hard. The offensive line (Tyler Fuelling, Tanner Lang, Logan Nesbitt, Jorge Avitia, and Jake Frelich) is starting to come around, too.
The first shut out of the season was lead by Logan Nesbitt, Carter Farr, Quinn Smolinski, and Grant Seyborn. The coverage on the kick off was great!
The Trojan Junior Varsity Football team lost to Mason 34-16. Ryan Mills scored 2 rushing touchdowns over 60 yards and he scored both 2 point conversions.
Melvin Bender, Alex Valentine, and Jason Scott had an overall good game, too. Tyler Fath has a sack.
Game Four
Announcement
The Varsity Trojan Football team lost to Banks Middle School 16-8. Ryan Lemanski threw a touchdown pass to Paul Forhan and Nathan Miller threw the key block. Jack Valentine ran the ball well, Corbin Gibson blocked great, and Harrison Crawford caught a pass.
The Junior Varsity beat Banks Middle School 22-16. Ryan Mills scored 2 touchdowns. Kirby Rice Jr. scored a 2 point conversion. Melvin Bender had an interception. The offensive line played their best game yet. Kirby Rice Jr.,

Game Five

Game Five Meads Mill
The Trojan Varsity Football Team traveled to Meads Mills in Northville, Michigan, and up ended the Patriots 24-18 to increase their record to 4-1.
Ryan Lemanski scored 3 rushing touchdowns and two 2 point conversions. Nathan Miller scored the other 2 point conversion.
Nathan Miller had two 35 yard runs. The offensive backs blocked well: Corbin Gibson, Paul Forhan, Quinn Smolinski, and Carter Farr.
Quinn Smolinski had a great punt return
On defense, Harrison Crawford, Paul Forhan, and Onyebuchi Amanze each had a quarter back sack.
Carter Farr, Ryan Lemanski, and Corbin Gibson each intercepted a pass
Jorge Avitia, Grant Seyborn, Logan Nesbitt, Carter Farr, Onyebuchi Amanze, and Jake Frelich made a tackle behind the line of scrimmage.
Corbin Gibson had the big hit of the game and Logan Nesbitt had a key tackle down the stretch.

Jack Malace, Matthew Hurst, William Blackwell, Matthew Szymanski, Ben Hefner, and Jeremiah Todd had a good game.
Game Six
Announcement
The Trojan Varsity Football team is Back - to - Back Walled Lake Middle School City Champions with a 30 - 0 victory over Walnut Creek Middle School. It was the second shut out of the season. The victory ended their season with a record of 5-1.
Nathan Miller rushed for two touchdowns, Corbin Gibson and Ryan Lemanski rushed for one touchdown a piece. Ryan Lemanski scored two 2 point conversions and Garrett Clyma score the other 2 point conversion.
Tyler Stallings had a great block on a touchdown run. The offensive line blocked well - Jorge Avitia, Logan Nesbitt, Tyler Fuelling, Jake Frelich, and Andrew Seng. Bard Hamilton, John Padula, Matt Braford, Ben Walters, Nathan Lie, and Jacob Barash, came off the ball hard and hit. The Backs ran hard and blocked well - Paul Forhan, Grant Seyburn, Bret Rogers, Carter Farr, Jack Valentine, and Jack Callahan. The wide receivers ran excellent routes and blocked well - Noah Izrailov, Scott Sussex, Steven Mandzuik, Kyle Link, Sam Bergman, and Harrison Crawford.
The Kick off Team lead by Quinn Smolinski had great coverage all game. Onyebuchi Amanze hustled all game.
The Defense was a team effort lead by big hits from Corbin Gibson, Ryan Lemanski, and Jake Frelich. Carter Farr broke up three passes.
