Parent Concession Stand Letter:
Scrimmage at home Wednesday, Sept 5, 2018 (4:30PM Kick Off), there will be an Inter Squad Scrimmage and (Picture Day) is no charge at the gate for the scrimmage.
Home Football Games this year:
Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2018, (Walnut Creek Middle School 4:00PM Kick Off) Season and Home Opener
Thursday, Sept 20, 2018, (Geisler Middle School 4:00PM Kick Off)
Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, (Banks Middle School 6:30PM Kick Off at Walled Lake Western) No Concession Stand
There will be a $3.00 dollar fee at the gate for adults and a $1.00 charge for students for home games.
Volunteer parents are needed to run the concession stand and organize it. Parents should share the responsibly of running the concession stand during the game.
I am asking for donations for the concession stand.
Ice needs to be bought and brought to the home games. Smart does not have an ice machine. Mobile Gas Station may donate the ice. In the past, Dr. Hersh has donated bottles of water, but a parent will need to ask his office. Ask for Amanda.

I would like to thank you for your generous donation in advance! The donations will be stored in the football equipment closet starting Monday, Aug 27, 2018.
All money raised will help pay for mouth guards, helmet and car decals, and jerseys, and other football equipment for Smart Middle School only.
Also, I would like to thank Smart’s administration, all the volunteer parents (coaching staff, concession stand, chain gang, video person, scoreboard clock person, and copy moms) who help me run a successful high quality football program for your kids! I have been very lucky to have all of the high quality people (you) helping me for the past 15 years at Smart.
Thank you for being prompt to pick up your child after practices and games. Remember your child will need a ride home from all home and away games. If you want another parent to take your child home, a note will be needed.
Please talk to your child about the phrase student / athlete and school behavior. I will not be running study hall this season. If players do not understand the concept that is being taught, then hands must be raised in the classroom. If players needs help and the teacher is willing to stay after school, your child needs to be dressed and on the practice field at 3:50PM with a note from the teacher. I would like the players sitting as close to the front of the classroom as possible. Also, I would like all players eating together at lunch. This builds the Family / Team concept.
If your child is sent to the Responsibility Room during the football season, he will be taking the bus home that day. If it is game, he / she will be taking the bus home, too.
On away games, I would like the players to wear a button down shirt and tie. Players will wear their white away jerseys over the shirt and tie. I can help players tie their tie at school in the gym. For home games, players will wear their red home jersey.
For your child to be able to play in the first game, the pay to participate fee $200.00 dollars must be paid in the office no later than Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018. Without the fee paid, your child will not be able to play in the game. I will get a list from the office at 3:00PM on Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2018.
