This week, we are going to explore garageband as a technology used to produce music.

Instructions:

1. Read your texts.

2. Meet with Miss West to discuss your texts.

5. Read the instructions on the 'Creating Loops in Garageband' task.

6. Explore garageband and, as a class, create a range of loops to create a piece of music to describe 'a school day'.

Instructions:

1. Watch the youtube video about Percussion Instruments.

2. Read your first text for the week.

3. Add new vocab to the vocab padlet.

4. Using information you have learned through reading the texts, create a short video explaining how percussion instruments work.

Use musical vocab such as: rhythm, beat, pitch

5. Create a Percussion Instrument using items around school.

6. Create a blog post sharing your learning: writing, video, audio file of you playing a piece of music on your percussion instrument.
