Walt: to solve multiplication problems using materials
Instructions:
Starting every session:
1. XtraMath - quietly come in and open your chrome book to this site and complete daily activities
2. Maths-Whizz - minimum of 15 minutes per day
First you will need to complete the number of the week. Then you will then need to complete each of the activities and place them in our class blog log and then place them on your blog once they have been checked. All work need to be checked and up to date this week!

Family of Facts - Add/Sub
Walt: to be able to understand basic facts and know what family of facts are
Instructions:
Starting every session:
1. XtraMath - quietly come in and open your chrome book to this site and complete daily activities
2. Maths-Whizz - minimum of 15 minutes per day
Once we break off into our maths groups after our other activities you will need to find a partner from your group and complete the basic facts flash cards. You will need to test each other on these and also time each other to see how well you do. This ca be recorded and you will try and beat this time every day.
You will then start on your activities for family of facts.

Walt: Know forward and backward counting sequences with whole numbers to at least 1000

Week 2 - Add/Sub
Walt: to understand basic facts and recognise addition and subtraction in word problems
Instructions:
Firstly we will start with XtraMath, once you have completed this you will need to quietly go on Maths-Whizz for a minimum of 15 minutes. I will time this for you once everyone has finished XtraMath
You will then need to complete both of the tasks starting with the word problems and finishing with basic facts.
Remember to use the WALT and include labels for your blog post
When you are completing your basic facts remember to change the colour of the font! Will make it easier for Miss Parrant to mark!
