The city of Kintargo, perched on the coast far from the Chelaxian capital of Egorian, has long stood apart from its nation's iron grip. While Cheliax as a whole is steeped in devil worship and draconian law, Kintargo has maintained a reputation for its independence, its love of art, and its more relaxed approach to the empire's rigid doctrines. But all that changed when Barzillai Thrune arrived, sent to bring the rebellious city to heel. Now, curfews choke its vibrant streets, Hellknights patrol its alleys, and whispers of resistance are met with brutal suppression. Still, Kintargo's soul is not yet extinguished. Whether driven by vengeance, justice, or hope, you are among those who refuse to let the city fall completely into darkness. Will you fan the embers of rebellion into a blazing inferno, or be crushed under the iron boots of Thrune's regime? The fate of Kintargo is in your hands.

On the way out, they rescue Rexus Victocora from some thugs. Rex pleads with them to go to the family estate, which was burned down in the Night of Ashes, to find his mother's belongings.
They agree, but Firenze's musical distraction fails and Elanna is spotted by the Dottari. With some quick talking and a bit of sleight of hand, she manages to hide the box she discovered.
Inside is an emblem pointing them towards Hocum's Fantasmagoria. Rexus tells the PCs he has friends that can get them the magical oil they need to fight Nox if they'll go to Hocum's and see what is what.
1/30/25: Sneaking into to Hocum's at night, they are searching when a group of Dottari and an Asmodean priest show up. The Chelaxians are attacked by animated yeti. The PCs hang back and let the battle play out. The priest is the only survivor. Once he leaves, they continue their search and discover a secret passage to the basement - home of the Fine Print Society, a heretical sect that finds loopholes in Chelaxian law.
Returning with the news to Rexus, he takes them to his "friends" - a fledgling group of resistance fighters. They learn the news that Portia, Rexus' mother and leader of the Fine Print Society, is being held in a Dottari guardhouse. Breaking in, they battle a Kython and rescue her. Freed prisoners want to know who the brave resistance is. They christen themselves the Breaker of Chains.
2/13/25: Portia tells them of the Fair Fortune Livery, a potential old hideout of the Silver Ravens. PCs fight some dogs, dire rats, gremlins, and lemures - which is not pronounced at all like you might think. They do indeed find old papers of the Silver Ravens.

He agrees to help the PCs if they'll rescue his armigers.

5/8/25: They make some preparations for the Ruby Masquerade. We start the dance.
5/22/25: Masquerade continues. Mul learns about her family betraing Dorian as the reason being for the Baron to kill them. Baron says he has the note from the family to the authorities. Firenze steals the flaming bow from the Erineyes. Lucreatia wins the Dance of the Damned. Brazailai's trap is sprung and the fighting begins. Lady Docur is killed in the chaos.
6/12/25: PCs battle the Thrune forces. Elanna in bear form breaks down doors so allow people to escape. Firenze leads the Erineyes on a merry chase. The bearded devil teleports Thrune out of the chaos. The fight does bog down and half of the citizens don't make it out alive. They encounter Nox once again, and once again forget that she is invulnerable and they really need to do something about it. Tork nearly dies many times over, but between healing and his ability to take blows, he manages to survive. Eventually they escape the opera house without dispatching any of the bad guys other than Dottari. Allies that perish where Sertona, Angellus Amplexo, and Laria Longroads.
6/19/25: The battle for control of Kintargo has reached it's critical moments. The PCs take down some Dottari, suddenly remember they have a demonic ritual book and read that to learn how to combat Nox's invulnerability, and head for the opera house.
6/26/25: Battling through the Opera House they find the petrified Shensen and return her to human form. They find the old hidden lair of the Silver Ravens, recover a bunch of treasure, and locate the music for Song of Silver.
7/3/25: In the basement of the opera house, they discover the former Lord Mayor has been turned into a vampire. It's mentioned that maybe they should resurrect her, but that idea is quickly forgetten. They rally the townspeople around the news that they killed a vampire. Through investigation, they track down the Skinsaw Cult that has been murdering the citizens and begin the battle.
7/10/25: With a lucky blow Elanna is nearly killed by the cult but is saved just in time. Spreading the news on the Lord Mayor's involvement with the cult, the group is ambushed by Serathis trying to get her bow back but she has to teleport away (Tork's taunt of calling her "angel piss" was a creative effort to get her to stay). They break into the Prisoner's Tower in Kintargo Keep in a quest to rescue Jackdaw.
7/17/25: A large running fight breaks out against the Hellknights of the Prisoner's Tower. Elanna again is nearly killed and Tork suffers a multi-round shaken without a benny to get out of it. They're looking for Jackdaw, but no one can make a Research roll in the ledger room to found out where she is. They have to search the five floors one by one, freeing prisoners as they go. This delay allows the bearded devil Glamberu and the erinyes Serathis to learn what is going on and try to stop them. Serathis has to teleport away after taking several hits.
7/31/25: Delving further in the dungeon of Kintargo Keep they encounter the First Warden and his stone golem assistance. A brief parley ensues, but the party can hear faint singing from the door the Warden is guarding. He won't let them in, so a battle ensues. The PCs emerge victorious and find Jackdaw hidden behind the door. She's quite mad from 100 years of solitary confinement, but Firenze realizes the quiet disjointed singing she is doing is in fact the words for the Song of Silver!
8/14/25: Wanting to strike another blow at the Lord Mayor, the PCs decide to liberate Bleakstone Bridge. The Dottari guards are quickly dispatched, but things get complicated when the dragon Razovir teleports in followed shortly by Serathis the erinyes. Razovir turns out to be even more of a problem because he's invulnerable. The players don't seem to remember that they have the counter for this from Tiarise's magical tome. After a few tense rounds, they eventually cast the Special Smite, the dragon is defeated and Serathis is driven off again.
They successful perform the Song of Silver. Wanting to knock off Thrune's devil assistances, they head to the Temple of Asmodeus. They get inside, but find a ritual underway with many priests and demons in attendance. They are also overwhelemed by the evil aura of the church.
While they charge right in for a frontal assault while suffering a debilitating aura or do they explore the church stealthily? Tune in next week.
8/21/25: Tork decides a frontal assault on the Temple is the way to go. The bone devils summon more bone devils. The temple aura proves to be a real handicap for everyone except Tork. Things are mostly going OK until the priests are killed at which point the Head Priest jumps in and Puppets Tork. With the big bruiser taken out (and Sebastian absent this session), the tide turns. Serathis also shows up. Firenze goes down, but the Song of Silver keeps him alive. Elanna heals him back up, he attempts a Banish that fails, and goes down to the devils. Mul is sniping and hiding invisibly. Elanna eventually gets surrounded and goes down. The Song of Silver keeps her from dying but there is no healer available to get her back up. The High Priest commands Tork into the Hellfire column. He resists for a few rounds but is eventually burned to a crisp while kissing the pentagram seal of office.
