Intro

For ages untold, a gemstone monolith has pierced the heart of the Echo Wood. Now, as civilization intrudes upon this enigmatic splinter, a strange life once again stirs in the depths—one with ties to undying evils and a might beyond time itself. The promise of wealth and power calls to glory-seekers from across the Inner Sea region, tempting them into a labyrinth of monster-haunted vaults, defiled tombs, arcane laboratories, and worse, as they seek to unveil the secrets locked below the legendary Emerald Spire.

The campaign is set in a mostly lawless region of Golarion known as the River Kingdoms. "Mostly lawless" because crusaders from Mendlev in the south cross through the Riverlands on the way to the Worldwound in the North on what has cleverly been named the "Crusader Road". Some semblance of order has been setup on this road - including Fort Inevitable - you home base for this campaign. Area Map

That's pretty much it for your intro. Home base, mysterious local site, go explore it.

---- Character Creation -----

Here's what I'd like for character creation:

1) Build a character. Use the SW Core rules. Use Fantasy Companion if you've got it (not needed). If you want to use some other thing, great, let me know.

2) Image for a token

3) Create one or more "bonds" that give you a relation to the other characters in the party. Just a quick one sentence "Fred has traveled with our cleric for a while now and is tired of his preaching", "While Fred is Joy's bodyguard, he's secretly in love with her". "Mike and Jeffs' fathers fought together in the war"

4) Give me a quick one or two sentence NPC connected to your character. This can be ally, enemy or neutral (maybe loook to your hindrances). "The innkeeper's wife has a soft spot for orphans and secretly slips me food", "Due to some youthful hi-jinks, the sheriff thinks I'm a ner-do-well".
