Goal
In this task, you will create the "My PBL Project" page for your AI project. This page will document your project idea, research, design process, materials, procedures, AI concepts, testing, and real-world applications.
This page will continue to grow throughout the school year as you develop and improve your project.
⚠️ Do NOT plagiarize.
All content on this page must be your own work.
Use your own writing.
Use your own photos and videos.
Cite sources when necessary.
Do not copy AI-generated content without reviewing and editing it.
Be sure to take pictures and videos throughout your project development process.
STEP 1: Create the Page
Open your Google Site.
Click Pages.
Click + New Page.
Name the page:
Select the default webpage template.
Place the page at the top level of your site navigation.
Click Done.
Begin editing your page.
Remember to save your work regularly.
Your My PBL Project page should include the following sections.
Provide a brief overview of your project.
Include:
Project Title
Project Description
Problem Being Solved
Why the project is important
Who will benefit from the project
"My project is an AI-powered Smart Recycling Assistant that helps students correctly sort recyclable materials and reduce waste."
Create a driving question that guides your project.
How can AI help reduce food waste in schools?
How can AI improve recycling habits?
How can AI help students learn more effectively?
If your project includes testing or experimentation, you may also include a hypothesis.
Create a bulleted list of all materials needed for your project.
Examples:
micro
Laptop
Camera
Sensors
Servo Motor
Python
Images
Datasets
Research Articles
Include quantities when appropriate.
Describe how you plan to complete your project and give details.
Use a numbered list.
Research the problem.
Gather information and data.
Design the AI solution.
Create a prototype.
Test the project.
Collect feedback.
Improve the design.
Present final results.
Explain any safety precautions required for your project.
Examples:
Follow digital citizenship guidelines.
Protect personal information.
Use AI responsibly.
Follow teacher instructions when using equipment.
Use adult supervision when necessary.
Follow electrical safety guidelines for hardware projects.
For physical computing projects, include any safety considerations related to electronics, batteries, sensors, or tools.
Include at least five original images from your project.
Possible images:
Materials
Research process
Design sketches
Coding screenshots
Prototype development
Testing process
Final project
Each image should include a caption explaining what is shown.
Optional:
You may also include an Action Video demonstrating your project.
Create a section called:
Explain the AI concepts, STEM concepts, and technical ideas behind your project.
Possible topics:
Artificial Intelligence
Machine Learning
Data Analysis
Computer Vision
Robotics
Sensors
Programming
Ethics of AI
Answer:
How does your project work?
What AI concepts are involved?
What STEM principles support your project?
Use information from your Background Research page.
Create a section called:
Write a paragraph explaining:
Where this technology is currently used.
How it benefits society.
Future uses of the technology.
Possible improvements to your project.
Think about how your project could help people, schools, businesses, communities, or the environment.
Create and upload a video explaining your project.
The video should include:
Project Title
Problem Being Solved
Driving Question
Research Summary
AI Concepts Used
Materials and Tools
How the Project Was Created
Challenges Encountered
Testing and Results
Future Improvements
Length: 2–4 minutes
Focus on the project, not yourself.
Use slides, screenshots, diagrams, code demonstrations, photos, animations, or screen recordings.
Do not include personal information.
Students should not appear on camera unless school media release requirements have been met.
Upload your video to YouTube.
Set the visibility to:
Public, OR
Unlisted (recommended)
Copy the YouTube URL.
Add the YouTube link to your Google Site.
Embed the video directly onto your website.
Add a section titled:
Project Presentation Video
Video URL:
Create a short Action Video that demonstrates your project working.
AI chatbot responding to questions
Smart Garden collecting sensor data
micro project running
AI model identifying objects
Servo motor moving
Robot completing a task
Length: 30–60 seconds
Show the project in action
Include captions if needed
Upload and embed the video on your website
This video should focus on demonstrating the final product rather than explaining it.
Provide a link to your completed project.

All AI-generated content was reviewed, edited, and verified by the student.
Artificial Intelligence can be a valuable tool throughout your project development process. You may use approved AI tools to help brainstorm ideas, conduct research, organize information, create project plans, improve writing, develop presentations, debug code, and prepare videos. The more details you provide about your project, the better AI can support your learning and creativity.
When using AI, be specific about your project title, goals, materials, technologies, and target audience. AI can help you organize your thoughts and generate ideas, but you are responsible for making decisions, verifying information, creating original work, and completing the project yourself.
ChatGPT
Google Gemini
Microsoft Copilot
