TASK 7: ELA and SS Components
This will be graded by your ELA and SS teacher.
NOTE TO STUDENTS:
The goal of this task to let teachers know about the ELA Component and SS component that you have chosen. A short paragraph explaining your choice would suffice for this task. No extensive editing is needed at this time. You will need to do further editing as well as add new information to these pages.
ELA Component
Choose the ELA component of your Level II/Level III projects
This will be graded by your SS teacher.
Students will select one of the options below to complete during the development of their Level II project, or will obtain ELA teacher-permission to pursue a different option.
For confirmation, students should email the following pieces of information to their ELA teacher and science/math teacher:

Journal (This assignment provides students with a platform to consistently reflect on all aspects of their project throughout the entire project experience.)
Argumentative Essay (This style of essay requires students to investigate a topic; to collect, generate, and evaluate evidence; and to establish a position on the topic in a concise manner.)
Narrative Essay (This style of essay requires students to tell a story of a personal experience related to their PBL.)
Newspaper (This assignment requires students to be creative, to identify the parts of a news story, and to identify the differences between newspaper and other media sources.)
Interview (This assignment is designed to help students grow in their fields of study by giving them the opportunity to have a conversation with someone who has done similar studies.)
Student Choice (Students should speak with their teacher on the possibility of creating an original ELA project.)
SS Component
