TASK 7: Creating pages for ELA Component and SS Connection (Graded by ELA and SS Teachers)
STEP 1:Create a Page for ELA Component
Login to google.sites.com with your gmail account (e.g. firstname.lastname.harmony2013@gmail.com)
Click on your Google site that you have previously created
Click on NEW PAGE button on the upper right corner of the screen
Name your page as "ELA Component"
Select the default template (Webpage)
Select location of your page. Choose "page at the top level"
Click on CREATE button at the top
You may continue with editing your page. Once you are done with editing click on SAVE button on the upper right corner of the screen
Simply enter a paragraph of text explaining your ELA component.You may use the information that you have provided to your ELA teacher in Task 5.
SAMPLE TEXT: "I have chosen to focus on hovercraft for my Science PBL project. For my ELA connection, I will complete a journal (Option 1). I will present this journal by adding it as a document under my PBL website."
Click on SAVE button on the top-right corner.Click on new page button at the right-top corner of your blank website.
STEP 2: Create a Page for SS Connection
Create a new page by using NEW PAGE button
Name your page as "SS Connection"
Select the default template (Webpage)
Select location of your page. Choose "page at the top level"
Click on CREATE button at the top
You may continue with editing your page. Once you are done with editing click on SAVE button on the upper right corner of the screen
Simply enter a paragraph of text explaining your SS connection.You may use the information that you have provided to your ELA teacher in Task 6.
SAMPLE TEXT: "My project on Physics is about the comparison of Galileo and Aristotle's laws regarding bodies in motion. Both scientists influenced development of the scientific method. This in turn influenced the government, society and human nature that became an integral part of the Enlightenment. On this page, I will post my SS connection showing how Galileo's methods influenced human thought during the Enlightenment era."
Click on SAVE button on the top-right corner.Click on new page button at the right-top corner of your blank website.

NOTE TO STUDENTS:
The goal of this task to let teachers know about the ELA Component and SS connections that you have chosen previously. A short paragraph explaining your choice would suffice for this task. No extensive editing is needed at this time. You will need to do further editing as well as add new information to these pages in Quarter 2.
