TASK 7 : Choosing the Social Studies (SS) Component of your project
This will be graded by your SS teacher.
The goal of this task is to let teachers know about the SS component that you have chosen. A short paragraph explaining your choice would suffice for this task. No extensive editing is needed at this time. You will need to do further editing as well as add new information to these pages
Social Studies (SS) Component
Step 1: Choose the SS component of your Project
This will be graded by your SS teacher.
Students will select one of the options below to complete during the development of their Level II project, or will obtain SS teacher-permission to pursue a different option.
For confirmation, students must include the following information on their SS Components Page and share with SS teacher and GRAPHIC DESIGN & MULTIMEDIA ARTS

Historical connections.
Its economic influence.
Its political influence.
How it is observed in the world (geographical location).
How it affected policy and society.
Legal cases.
Step 2: CREATE SS Components PAGE on your PBL Site
Posting the SS component to the "SS component" page:
Create a new page, and name it "SS Component". All SS work will be typed onto this page, do not submit anything to your teacher.
It is recommended that you complete the task ahead of the due date in order to receive feedback from your SS teacher and achieve the highest score possible.
It is also recommended that you insert a few pieces of media to make your page look even better.
Always keep in mind that your website needs to look as professional as possible.

NOTE TO STUDENTS:
As part of the year-long PBL project, students are expected to submit a one-page detailed document for the SS component. This requirement promotes comprehensive exploration and analysis of the chosen topic, encouraging students to go beyond short answers and engage in thorough research.
