Step 3 - Search for Images

Use the internet sites below as a start for your image search.

GOALS - to find several images which can be cut out and put together in a digital collage to illustrate your fortune cookie saying.

Remember, get more than you think you need – try to find different angles or sizes or points of view. Consider the background before anything else – then make sure they can fit together somehow.

• The background must have SPACE - show distance, in order for you to put your other images in.
• For backgrounds, you must use Google. Make sure that they are LARGE (choose this in Google) images, because they have to fill our 8" x 10" Workspace. The background must have SPACE - show distance, in order for you to put your other images in.
• The size of the other images depends on what you will use them for and how big they are in the final collage. Choose at least MEDIUM in Google search to make sure.
• For people and objects that don't need to be large:

• The Visual Resources page has landscapes, skies and clouds, fish, animals, sports and clip art. Make sure none of your images have a watermark - a copyright symbol.
