Photograph 1: Slow Shutter 1/30th or slower.
1. Set shutter for a slow speed such as 1/30 or slower by rotating the selector dial. Look for the shutter speed on the lower left of your viewing screen.
2. Set up your subject.
You want to show motion blur so your subject should be moving such as jumping, waving arms, rotating their head, or running by.
Avoid running or moving toward the camera.
3. Check the exposure by holding the shutter button halfway and look at the screen
You can adjust the exposure 2 ways (see NOTES on last page):
4. Hold the camera very steady and take a picture of something moving. If you move the camera everything will be blurry. If you hold the camera steady, only parts of the subject will look blurry
