Introduce the Art Period you will focus on:

• Include a photo of an artwork by one artist that best represents that period.
• List who created the art and the title of the work.
• Also include your name, my name, and the period you have art class.

Slide 2-Style of Art

Discuss the period you choose by bulleting 5 facts that describe and define it and include 2 reasons why you chose this period to research.

Slide 3-5 Key Artists

Research at least 3 artists that you feel best represents the period you’re focusing on.

List at least 5 interesting biographical facts about EACH of the artists.

• Things to include: Brief overview of the artist’s life, including nationality, education, life as an artist, birth and death dates

Slide 6-8 Artist’s Work

Select one key image (an important work of art!) from EACH artist’s body of work.

• Reflect on how the artist uses the 7 Elements of Art (line, shape, color, value, form, texture, and space) and Principles of Design (Emphasis, Proportion, Unity, Pattern, Balance, Rhythm, Variety).
• You must discuss ANY of the Elements and Principles found in the artwork - minimum two of each, though it depends on the artwork, some use all!
• Include the title, date it was created, and the medium used.
