Step 2 - Find Textures
Start searching for images of visual textures using ONLY the internet sites below.
- Save your images to your H:// drive, inside the Dream Landscape folder you made in your Digital Art folder.
- You should have 10-15 images before you start your collage.
- The images of visual textures should be as high resolution as possible. Right click > Inspect Element. The resolution is at the bottom left - a number followed by "px". At least one number should be over 500 dpi.
- If it is high enough resolution, right click and SAVE PICTURE AS.
- These are the ONLY sites you should need for this project. You should not be using any search engines! Remember that you do not want OBJECTS that can be recognized, but the texture from the object!

The Flicker Sites below are a great resource, but remember - some of the images have downloading DISABLED!!
Texture Colr Pickr - Cool site where you choose a color, and the Pickr will bring up some textures in that color range. Click on them to enlarge and save.
Flickr: Color Fields This site has thousands of textures - First, click on "MORE PHOTOS" - then click on the thumbnails to get to the larger image and save
