Traveling Landscapes

You are a “traveling” artist, who paints landscapes of the exotic places you visit. Through this lesson, you will travel around the world, visiting new and old places, to find images to include in your latest work of art – a landscape painting.

An artist often uses reference material when creating art, rather than just drawing from his or her head. You are here as an artist to:

1. Learn more about Perspective in Landscapes, and fill in a handout about Perspective.

2. Gather at least 3 images of high resolution you can use as visual reference for your painting, which will depict something of your travels around the world. These should be in a Google Doc to be printed.
