Hey everyone. Sanders & Crandall here. We hope you are all doing well and starting to adjust to this strange new normal, which we know will continue for at least the next several weeks. Trust us...it's weird for us too. The two of us are not worried, and our message to you is to keep calm. We will figure it out.
Mr. Crandall has been sticking to his normal running routine, training his new dog (Chloe), and herding his three kids around his house and several South Boulder trails. Mr. Sanders has been hanging out at his house in the mountains since last Friday...hiking, reading, wearing flannel, burning sticks, and juggling chainsaws.
As we are sure you are probably aware, all BVSD students (and all students in Colorado, for that matter) are going to continue moving forward with their classes in an online format. For our class, there is NOTHING you need to do at this time. It's your Spring Break, so try to relax. Read a book. Listen to an audiobook on Sora. Listen to a podcast. Watch a movie. Play cards. Exercise. Watch Bob Ross. Stare at a tree. Be healthy.
Like all of your other classes, nothing will start in Humanities until Monday, March 30. You and your families will be getting more details about this from Mr. White in the coming days.
Just so you know, your first official communication from us (Sanders & Crandall) regarding academics will happen on Schoology at some point on Monday, March 30th. In that communication, we will outline how we will be moving forward with Humanities. Our goal is to keep things simple for you, while still moving forward with much of what we have originally planned for 4th quarter. So...stay tuned.
During this time, feel free to reach out to us if you need anything, whether it's academic or not.
And lastly, in the meantime, enjoy this video of Mr. Crandall dancing.
