Today, you will...      

        - Develop an understanding of how and why the "framers" (founding fathers) created the three branches of the United States government, and specifically the Supreme Court. 

        - Study the details of a Supreme Court case and related issues, and conduct research with a group to develop an argument for a debate.

        - Read To Kill a Mockingbird in order to develop an analytical understanding of Harper Lee's purpose, as well as her narration, plot, characters, themes, and symbolism.
