Today, you will...      

        - Read To Kill a Mockingbird in order to develop an analytical understanding of Harper Lee's purpose, as well as her narration, plot, characters, themes, and symbolism.  

        - Analyze the connections between the Commerce Clause in the Constitution and how it has impacted race, Civil Rights, and the novel To Kill a Mockingbird.

        - Understand the historical significance of The Election of 1800, and analyze the significance of the election by creating a political cartoon that relates to political dynamics at play between Adams and Jefferson.
