how and why did the Colonists ultimately win the war?

INSTRUCTIONS
Use a textbook or the links provided to create the rules for Revolutionary War Tug o’ War. That’s right, you will need to have an understanding of the Revolutionary War to develop the framework for how our class will play Tug o’ War. After the research is complete, we will flip a coin to determine which side of the room (east/west) will represent the Patriots, and which will represent the British. Then, the war is on!
DO THIS
Step 1: 25 minutes
Peruse the textbook and/or links provided.
Step 2: 5 minutes
Write down/record at least 5 facts or details that you think NEED to be included in the tug o’ war. Remember, the game of tug o’ war we are creating will be simulating the Revolutionary War and all of the major components of the war.

- Advantages / Disadvantages
- Allies / Enemies
- Other Factors
Step 3: 5 minutes
Brainstorm and write down at least 3 “rules” or guidelines needed to organize tug o’ war.
