Step #2 - Your House Identity
Directions: Now that you know each other, work together to create your House identity that includes the following:
1. Your House name (2-word max)
2. House Mission Statement - what your house stands for
3. House Norms - agreements for collaborating successfully
4. House Crest - look to the right for more details
Do THIS:
1. Draw your House Crest on a sheet of provided paper.
2. Take a picture of the Crest and send it to your Email.
3. Save the picture of the Crest to your Drive.
4. Share the picture with your group members.
5. Input the four elements of your House identity on your slide.

Designing a House Crest
A house crest is a visual, symbolic representation of a group's identity. Knights used to display their family's crest so that audience members knew who was behind the helmet. The purpose of a crest is to display the values and virtues that a family or group stands for.
When your group designs the house crest, consider the following:
FORM
Go traditional, or get creative and modernize your crest.
SYMBOLS
Important! Your crest should include a variety of symbols that represent your house name, your mission statement,
and ALL house members.
COLOR
Different colors represent different ideas. Use the links below to help you choose colors as you design your crest.
