• Take out a piece of paper and a writing utensil. No Chromebooks yet.

• Get out your Bookshelf Book.

Agenda:

• Be mindful and relax.

• Reading time and Bookshelf.

• Dueling Decades - research and thesis statement writing.

Today, you will...  

• - Be able to write a solid thesis statement.

• - Prepare for a debate by developing an argument that is backed by sound reasoning and evidence (LA & SS)

• - Conduct research for sound evidence that supports a thesis statement (LA & SS)
