        - The Outsiders - Reading, Annotating, Silent Conversation 

        Homework:  Read & Annotate Ch. 7 & 8 of The Outsiders  

Today, you will...   

        - Develop a complex understanding of the relationship between characters, themes and symbols in The Outsiders.  

        - Learn about the Americas in 1491, and analyze the impact of Europeans on Native American populations and cultures.
