Snazzify Your NHD Title

When someone looks at your project, the first thing they will see is your title.  Therefore, it should grab their attention and let them know what they will be learning about. Here are two standard formulas that work well for NHD titles:

FORMULAS:

Something Catchy:  Specific Topic and Theme (if possible)

Specific Topic: How it Relates to the Theme

EXAMPLES:

Exchange between France and the United States: The Louisiana Purchase

Exploring New Technologies: Andrew Carnegie’s Steel Empire

Exploration and Ice: Encountering the North Pole

Running, Teaching, and Singing:  Zachary Leonard Crandall, Life Explorer

Encounter in Little Rock: Desegregating Central High School

The Monroe Doctrine: How Isolationism Impacted the Exploration, Encounters, and Exchanges of a New Nation
