        - Plan for and tell an engaging, detailed story through the structure of This I Believe, The Sloth, or Spoken Word Poetry. 

        - Read and understand the content of the Declaration of Independence in order to understand its significance in the history of the United States. 

        - Analyze the history and structure of the Declaration of Independence so you can write your own "Declaration."
