Prompt (CMAS-style):
The Louisiana Purchase set the stage for the westward expansion of the United States. While the expansion had many positive impacts on the future of America, it also came with some costs. After exploring the six texts to the right, write a paragraph that analyzes both the positive and negative eventual impacts of the Louisiana Purchase and Westward Expansion. Be sure to include ideas and textual evidence from at least three of the six texts in your response.
