Artist Study- Study the work of Sarah Eisenlohr.
Getting technical- Learn about how to use different techniques, colours and textures etc. when designing and making pieces of work.
Imitate the artist- Imitate the work of Sarah Eisenlohn to use a range of media to create collages.
Become the artist- Create a collage by gathering appropriate images for a collage of a changing world and developing their own ideas. Gather appropriate images for a photo collage of an everyday object, considering the main features they want to highlight and the elements of landscape they want to include or exclude.
Evaluate- Evaluate the final piece.
Artist Study- Study the work of David Hockney.
Getting technical- Learn about how to scan an image or take digital photographs and use software to alter them, adapt them and create work with meaning.
Imitate the artist- Imitate the work of David Hockney by recreating one of his landscape paintings by following a teacher-led step by step tutorial.
Become the artist- Create a version of The Bigger Splash using paper. Then use IT art programs on the chrome books or I pads to recreate the image showing skills of shading, tone and depth.
Evaluate- Evaluate the final piece.
