Class Ethic

  1. Do your best, remembering that the skills you acquire and the experiences you collect pave the way for Kingdom work.
  2. Cooperate and respect others. Every student is created in the image of the living God.
  3. During independent work time, stay on task and work diligently with assigned activity. “If anyone shall not work, neither shall he eat.”
  4. Be prepared for class. If you showed up unprepared for a production meeting or a video shoot, you would have consequences, too.
  5. When you are absent, you will be responsible for making up the work on your own. There will be due dates for projects and assignments and you will be responsible for knowing them. If you are unable to complete these within the given class time, you will need to make arrangements to come in before or after school or during a study hall. You will be responsible for any work time missed.
  6. Class time will include direct instruction, project work, class discussion, and critical analysis.
  7. Plan wisely and don't procrastinate. As in any paid occupation, if you don’t do your job, you risk losing it.
  8. Video assignments will not be accepted and a failing grade will be given to work that includes:
        • poor word choices or profanity
        • gratuitous violence
        • nudity
        • inappropriate music
        • unsafe acts or conduct
        • inappropriate humor or gestures
        • illegal behaviors

Remember to honor Him with your work.
