Entrepreneurship - Restoration

Entrepreneurship focuses on developing sustainable opportunities for people to thrive and flourish.

The roles and qualities of image-bearers are vast and comprehensively connect us to the Creator God. Entrepreneurship is the secular term for restoration, which communicates our God-demanded and ordained role in creation as followers of Christ. Restorers are obligated to understand and function within the capitalist economy by creating flourishing through businesses and organizations that are primarily profit seeking.

As Restorers, people will work as image bearers to create sustainable solutions for the following:

    • solutions for the injustices in the world,
    • stewardship of all of creation,
    • heal brokenness and bring joy to individuals and culture,
    • celebrate and praise God’s beautiful creation,
    • build up the places they live and communities around the globe, and
    • highlight God’s fingerprint all over creation.

Entrepreneurship-Restoration is a year-long course and will be offered during a class period and senior service. Entrepreneurship-Restoration may be taken by 11-12 grade students. College credit (3 hours) may be earned through Missouri State University.
