Introduction & Standards: Jesus, Marketing & Some Psychology

Learning Goal: Determine the role of marketing in working towards flourishing.

The goal of this unit is to develop a clear base for the purpose and use of marketing in the life of a Christian. To accomplish this goal, we will look at marketing from both the eyes of consumers and producers of content.

Ultimately, it is my belief that Christian's prerequisite for using marketing tactics is having a product that is worth selling. The Created product should work to restore the four areas below:

    1. Gods relationship with man
    2. Mans relationship with creation
    3. Man's relationship with neighbor
    4. Man's relationship with self

Once a product worth selling is Created, marketers can start Connecting the product to their targeted audience.

By the time this unit is completed, students should be prepared to understand the role of marketing in working toward flourishing.
