TEDxTSIS is an independently organised TED event, where speakers from South Island School and within our Hong Kong community are invited to share ideas to a live audience.
The event is run as a two-year commitment, where you be part of the head team in both Y12 and Y13. Successful applicants will join the existing Y13 team in assistant roles, and take on head roles in the next academic year.
General Timeline:
Jun-July: Applying for a license
Aug-Sep: Speaker recruitment begins
October-Dec: Finalised internal and external speakers, film/stage, design/graphic, marketing begin planning
Jan-Feb: Polishing speeches, creation of promotional material and stage design
Feb-March: Releasing promotional material, final rehearsals and event
