Creative Arts Council

Our Aim:

We aim to increase the awareness of creative arts here at South Island School, and to give a space and opportunity for hidden talents to flourish. 

• Recognise and celebrate achievements from students participating in anything related to the creative arts 

• Encouraging students to participate and promote competitions and creative arts events here at South Island School

What initiatives do we work on?

The Creative Arts Council is still a relatively new council and we’re working hard to come up with fun new initiatives for the school! 

We currently have a potential Creative Arts Week in the works as well as a few yearly competitions we plan on establishing for the following years. We are also working to celebrate student achievements through our Instagram page where students can submit through our form any creative achievements they wish to share with the student body! 

The Creative Arts Council is also working alongside the Diwali Night Head Team on displaying cultural artwork on the night of the event.
