The Casa Coyote house, led with the ethos ‘Pay it Forward’, strives to make a difference in South Island School by helping those that are less fortunate than ourselves and paying forward what we have as students at South Island School. We support The Nesbitt Centre through our yearly Casa MaD week, empowering people in Hong Kong with learning disabilities to receive vocational training, become more independent and more integrated in society. Casa coyotes work together to help each other up, so as a group we can have greater achievements!

House Council Initiatives

As of currently, student council has launched the new concept of house-specific initiatives, each house selecting an area of focus in the school to take action in for the long-term. This year, Casa’s initiatives are to streamline the facilities team by expanding it, consisting of ambassadors with the lower years; furthermore, we have extended to mental health-based initiatives. As student council, representatives are able to freely choose certain issues they wish to amend and satisfy the school community with.
