If you've ever closed Server Manager, it can be found from the Start Menu
Make sure you have Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS) and Internet Information Services (IIS) installed as part of your Virtual Machine instance (on Virtual Box). Instructions below in Step 2, otherwise skip to Step
Before moving onto the next series of steps, go to this link and rename your (Virtual) PC to DS2, then the other screenshots will make sense.

5. Keep the default (Role-based)

7. Keep the defaults, check your server name is there (ds2)
8. Check the Active Directory Certificate Services

11. Web Server (IIS) - Check the box

12a. Make sure the box for Web Server (IIS) is checked

15. Check Restart the destination ... (although you still seem to have to do a manual restart from the Start menu later)

19. From Tools, click Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
20. Select your server
Copy this somewhere as you'll need it for the Web Browser (Step 26). Mine was WIN-HQQ04CH9IVH, now DS2
21. Scroll down
22. Double-click Server Certificates
23. Create Self-Signed Certificate
24. Name it wrecDST
24a. OK
25. Open Internet Explorer (from within your Virtual Machine [Virtual Box])
26. In the Address Bar type: https://XXX (where XXX is the name of your server,
Mine was WIN-HQQ04CH9IVH, now DS2 (from Step 20 above)
(or the name of your computer, which by default is a long list of LETTERS -- Step 30 of this link shows you how)
You will get a Can't reach this page error message
27. Delete the 's' making it just http://ds2 (ds2 is my computer's name. It used to be a long string of CAPITAL letters; change it here on Step 30)
You will then see the default homepage on the webserver
28a. Go to Tools > Internet Information Services (IIS) Manager
28b. Expand and click on the Default Web Site from within IIS
29. Select Bindings
30. Press Add
By default there is only http (unsecure)
31. In the Type drop-down, select https (the Port will change to 443)
32. In the SSL Certificate drop-down, add the certificate you added before in Step (wrecDST)
33. Press OK
Notice https has been added
34. Press Close
35. Go back to your browser (Internet Explorer) and type in https://ds2 (ds2 is the name of my computer) and press Enter
