What do I bring?
Love
What did I take a picture of?
Clock
What does it represent?
In my mind, when it comes to love I think of time. I believe time is one of the most important qualities because it shows that I am a priority and helps me to feel important. When I receive time from others it helps me to give time and love to other people. Giving time to people helps build connections, brings happiness and also increases productivity levels.
But on the other side of this, love also makes me think of motivation. The reason I say this is because it takes time to do the things that you want to do. For example, it took me a lot of time, motivation, and dedication to become a first generation college student. I had to push and tell myself that I would get there as long as I had the motivation to do so. Being a first generation student has helped me to bring love to York College because I’m thankful for the people that have supported me to get there.
For this project, I chose to take a picture of a clock to represent that I bring time, love, and motivation to York College. The clock comes from Japan, and plays a sound for every hour that passes. Every time I hear the clock go off, it tells me that I am another hour closer to accomplishing my goals. This is important to me because it helps me feel like I’ve accomplished something and helps me realize that I have put in so much time and effort to get to where I am today.
In conclusion, time is precious. Putting in the time, motivation, and dedication to write essays and study for assignments and exams has awarded me with the opportunity to bring love and motivation to York College and get the best educational experience possible. Feeling important has also helped me to help others, and to show them that time given is valuable.
