Heflin, Ryan, Sports have always been a big part of my life and in my family. I have always played sports growing up starting all the way back to when I was younger. What I bring to York College is myself and my past, I bring my love of sports and I chose to come here to join the sports program they have which is very good. My major is sports media and I envision myself working in sports in my future and wouldn’t want a job doing anything else. My favorite sports are basketball, and baseball and me and my family love watching sports together and going to the games in Philadelphia a couple times a year. I also see sports as something that helps bring people closer together. With sports I am able to spend more time with my family and talk about sports and have a fun time. Every sunday me and my family watch football all day and eat food and talk and that is something I really enjoy that I think brings people closer. I also enjoy when we go to the games because I only live about 30 minutes from Philadelphia so me and my family spend time in the city and at the games there. When I decided to photograph this image I saw it as telling my past, present, and future as I would like to always have sports be a big part of my life and to always continue to get to the goal I want to be at.
