What Did I take a picture of?

A Soccer Ball

What does it represent?

I was asked to take the VIA character strengths assessment to learn about

and find ways to use my strengths throughout the semester. The 2 strengths that were identified to me were Creativity and Leadership. 

I personally think I found a perfect connection and symbol for these 2 highlighted strengths within taking the picture of the Soccer Ball because first, I play club soccer here, and the colors I think represent my creativity and how I can be creative on the field and with the way I do things, I have my own ways of going about school and regular life and reaching my goals and achievements and especially of building myself into the person I want to be. I took the picture at this certain angle above my camera to show that the Leadership aspect of the ball also portrays to how I act on the field, I will always be there to uplift my teammates and try my best to act like a Leader no matter if we're losing or winning, and just giving them advice no matter how we are playing. So the Soccer Ball I think perfectly captures and represents both strengths I bring to York College within my Leadership and Creativity on and off the field. So my Goal of my photo was to represent how I have brought Creativity and Leadership to York College through playing soccer, trying to be a Leader and be positive on and off the field with my teammates and even in life, trying to find my own way and be creative and be a leader in my life.
