Making connections can lead to greater things such as new friendships and strong bonds. I created a picture of the Dugout in the Dallastown Baseball Park. This picture symbolizes my word because, when I moved to Dallastown I would go to the park all the time to make friends. I’ve made many strong bonds and connections at the park with people I'm still friends with till this day. But the dugout specifically ended up becoming a safespace where me

and a close friend would go to talk about problems going on. When we talk about any problems the first thing we ask each other is “Do you want to solve the problem or do you want someone to listen?” and that represents my word because I connect with my friend and I bring that ability to YCP, because I’m always willing to connect with others, listen, or even create resolutions.
