The role of a Communications Specialist is to maintain the connection between various USRF elements in the field via long-range radio communication. They often work closely with Section Leaders while in the field to assist in effectively coordinating USRF forces.

Drone Operators are USRF servicemen trained to operate military drones across the battlefields of the Wasteland. Drone Operators are trained to use various different kinds of drones, all the way from small reconnaissance drones to full-on assault drone swarms, though most Drone Operators however will only ever utilize recon drones for the duration their military career.

Flamethrower Operators are typically utilized by the USRF in a supportive role, often deployed alongside a traditional Section. These individuals are most frequently employed to exterminate eldritch mutant threats or clear fortified positions like trenches, bunkers and pillboxes. Flamethrower Operators will also tend to work closely with Combat Engineers, usually having at least one deployed alongside them during field operations.
