HISTORY
The LCH is a steel combat helmet of the Eastern Armed Forces, Early Militia and then USRF. The helmet derives its design from the pre-Flash American PASGT, although mass produced with cheap materials as a result of supply shortages across the Eastern Union and later the Northeast Union. The helmet weighs in at around 2.8 lbs, and protects the wearer from impact shock and steel fragments (shrapnel).

HISTORY
The brainchild of the Northeastern Union’s more haphazard research sectors, the Experimental Infrared Visor takes after prototype night vision devices developed pre-Flash. Though the initial model saw very little refinement before being sidelined in favor of more advanced and modern HUD systems, the EIV itself was pressed into service by the NEU following the rediscovery of both the project’s core research documents and a stockpile of the pre-war prototypes. Though effective in conditions with zero illumination, the EIV is prone to catastrophic failure in radstorms, suffers from poor image clarity in inclement weather, and contains a number of highly volatile radioactive substances. After critically dangerous levels of radiation were found in the bodies of USRF soldiers that fielded them, the visor was deemed a failure in early 2165. The EIV is now exclusively issued to the Green Rifles due to their high tolerance to radiation. You might get cancer.

HISTORY
Like most equipment serviced to Green Rifle units, the Green Rifles Beanie or Greenskin Beanie was initially introduced as an informal working headdress for servicemembers performing manual labor around encampments taken by the Early Militia. Following the Greenskin Act of 2152, it has become synonymous with Green Rifle units who then saw it fielded to them for warmth and comfort.

HISTORY
A simple yet practical wool cap fielded to Green Rifle units to provide padding and warmth beneath a helmet. Designed to hold on even under extreme winds or temperatures, given it the unofficial name of a 'Jeep Cap,' it was additionally found to be extremely comfortable thanks to its looser fit and soft weave, enough so that many servicemembers began wearing the cap as an everyday watchcap without a helmet.
