HISTORY
The LCH is a steel combat helmet of the Eastern Armed Forces, Early Militia and then USRF. The helmet derives its design from the pre-Flash American PASGT, although mass produced with cheap materials as a result of supply shortages across the Eastern Union and later the Northeast Union. The helmet weighs in at around 2.8 lbs, and protects the wearer from impact shock and steel fragments (shrapnel).

HISTORY
The M7 is a relatively new production by the NEU. The Cover was made to keep chemical residue off of the metal the LCH Helmets are made out of, as it proved to damage the helmets. It is made from the same fabric the M20 Chemhood and CBRN Hoods are made of and go on with a set of simple clips. It has been made required for ALL Biomass Containment Group LCH, due to their primary target.

HISTORY
The M20 gas mask is a pre-war design that saw use to combat radstorms, typically in conjunction with a balaclava worn underneath for maximum effectiveness at insulation. Its reliability has seen it continuing to see use even within backwater units within the USRF by soldiers despite the design's age.

HISTORY
The M57 is a Crisis Corps-developed gas mask, developed by the previous regime's Department of Homeland Safety. It is designed with the capacity to last within radstorm conditions for up to 72 hours on a full filter. It is considered to be a major upgrade from the standard-issue M20 Protective Mask utilized by normal NEU military forces. Due to this design being more expensive and complicated to produce, it is mainly issued only for the Crisis Corps to use. Recent developments across the coast and into the mainland have resulted in bolstered production of the M57, and it has since become standard issue for most soldiers of the Crisis Corps.

HISTORY
Initially designed in parallel to the standalone M57 protective mask, the M59 serves as a multi-role platform and is most commonly paired with the RD15 multi-cycle system pack. When connected via a hose to the M59 mask, the RD15 is capable of APR, PAPR, and SCBA modes of function, which permit it to both passively filter air, do so via a powered mechanism to reduce breathing effort and increase protection, or fully operate on a closed cycle using a pressurized canister stored within the backpack itself. Units of the M59 and RD15 are effectively always shipped alongside one another, though expensive components and their newly-issued nature means that they are most often given only to Specialists and above.

The M20 Protective Mask Chemhood Neckpiece is worn alongside either the M5 CBRN Hood, or the M20 Chemhood Protective Mask. It is seen for use against chemical agents and is known to do its job extremely well. Users of the Chemhood have found it to get sweaty underneath the fabric but put their complaints aside as it does its job.

HISTORY
The M5 CBRN Hood was created as a cost effective, while still reliable anti-chemical hood for CBRN specialists. It has been long since forgotten about, in favor for the M20 Chemhood system, but recently revived to cut costs, and allow for helmets to be worn alongside CBRN gear. It attaches to the M20 Chemhood neck piece and requires a regular M20 Gas Mask to be worn alongside it.

The RN/PRC-130 translates to "Reclamation/Navy, Portable, Radio, Communication". It is a man-portable combat-net radio device put inside of a manpack. It is colloquially referred to as an "Uplinker" by USRF service members. The RN/PRC-130 allows USRF squads to communicate beyond the line of sight. Having a Comms Specialist is mission critical as it allows the squad to radio back to BMC during an emergency.
