BASE TOOL: Mendel-32
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
A popular weapon of choice for licensed NEU gun owners, produced both pre-war and post-Flash in truly massive numbers. The Mendel-32 is versatile and extremely recognizable, brandished by both Wastelanders and Union soldiers alike, and renowned for its simple reliability.
BASE TOOL: Mendel-63
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
A slightly more expensive and stylish evolution of the Mendel-32. The 63 comes standard with an integrated laser-flashlight module, and saw ample usage pre-Flash in military service. The USRF still makes rare usage of the sidearm, although more modern Mendel-XR remains far more commonly issued, as the Mendel-63 sees no further production in a post-Flash world.
HALLOWEEN 2022 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Mendel Match
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
Like the 63, the Mendel Match is another natural evolution of the Mendel pistol series. This handgun comes standard with an integrated compensator and self-illuminated rear and front sights, and serves as a 'match-grade' upgrade of the original platform, illuminated by its capacity for tighter shot groupings over the original model and higher accuracy at range. Though the quality of the gun itself is hard to overstate, it sees little use in the USRF following the adoption of the modernized Mendel-XR.
BASE TOOL: Mendel-XR
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: 9x19mm, 5.7x28mm NEU
[PL 2]
The USRF's standard-issue sidearm, issued in amounts dwarfing any other available handgun, modeled and produced for a post-nuclear world. This Mendel comes with a comfortable ribbed grip and a light trigger pull, allowing for the operator to fire faster consecutive shots. Like the Mendel Match, it comes with self-illuminated rear and front sights, but also features an optional lighting module and threaded suppressor mount for variable usage in a myriad of different conditions. The handgun can be rechambered for the 5.7x28mm NEU common cartridge.
BASE TOOL: Warden-3DR
ATTACHMENTS: 14rd Magazine, Factory Slide, Factory Frame
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
A lightweight, compact pistol that features higher-capacity magazines than most other sidearms of the same size. The Warden's polymer frame remains reliable in almost any environment, and it is easily modified into a full-scale carbine capable of deadly automatic fire. Similarly to most Mendel models, it features a threaded mount for suppressors, and proper rail mounts when retrofitted as a carbine.
BASE TOOL: Quiman
ATTACHMENTS: Quiman Integrated Silencer
CALIBER: 5.7x28mm NEU
[PL 2]
A pistol with an integral suppressor, originally designed and manufactured by the Southern Union for espionage purposes. Uses a common NEU caliber, 5.7x28mm, which allowed spies to easily source more ammo. This pistol is so efficient that a dozen assassinations of NEU officials can be attributed to it, and a mixture of captured and reverse-engineered instances of the Quiman see limited use by USRF units in the field.
IN-GAME LEVEL 3
BASE TOOL: Scrap Pistol "Spade"
ATTACHMENTS: Battered Slide, 15 Rnd
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
Throughout the 2163-2164 Deep Wintertide, the wide majority of supply lines into the Sunrise Isles were cut off, forcing merchants, smiths, and general wastelanders to work with what they had to defend themselves. The Spade was the resulting handgun that came from these many experiments, built from cannibalized parts sourced from different firearms into a handgun that, while somewhat dysfunctional, still finds its uses in the hands of wastrels and poorer USRF units.
BASE TOOL: SuperColt
ATTACHMENTS: Compensator
CALIBER: EBC Gel Compound 83
[PL 1]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Designed after the classic Colt M1911, the SuperColt is an attempt to bring the power of EBC ammunition to the world of handguns. EBC Gel Compound 83 is a highly volatile compound which creates an exothermic reaction on contact with organic flesh, causing an incendiary explosion. This makes it highly effective and dealing with lightly armored targets. Although some are known to be used by USRF servicemen, both the price and the rather short supply of the exotic compound makes the average soldier turn away from it, ensuring it is only seen in limited numbers.
SUMMER RAIN 2024 - FLASH PASS [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: LXVII
ATTACHMENTS: "Firebreather" Muzzle Brake, Wooden Grip Panels
CALIBER: .357 Magnum / .44 Magnum
[PL 2]
A modernized reproduction of the famous IMI Desert Eagle high caliber pistol, chambered for more commonly available and slightly less powerful cartridges. In the field, the LXVII's excessively large frame and massive cartridge next to the more common Mendel-XR make it a far rarer implement than most others, and it most commonly sees usage by officers or happy-go-lucky cadets thanks to the nature of the handgun's reputation.
BASE TOOL: Heron
ATTACHMENTS: Heron Pistol Magazine, Heron Pistol Grip, Heron Pistol Barrel
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
A forward-receiver handgun designed and produced within the confines of the Great Lakes Coalition. In spite of its classical appearance, the Heron is incredibly accurate and easily modified, with space for both a rail-mounted optic and lighting module. Many instances of the Heron are also capable of being modified for fully-automatic fire, and that, alongside the handgun's success in shooting competitions, has earned it a limited spot amongst some USRF soldiers.
BASE TOOL: DT7
ATTACHMENTS: DT7 Default Magazine, DT7 Irons, DT7 "Whisper", DT7 Tactical Module
CALIBER: 7x23mm Caseless
[PL 2]
The DT7 also known as "Dual Target 7x23mm" is a pre-flash relic that exemplifies the United States' Armed Forces dynamic capacity for change when it's needed. Though once renowned for its efficiency, easy-to-modify nature, and caseless cartridge, the proprietary ammunition (and short shelf life thereof) has prompted it to become a rare sight in the hands of soldiers and wasters alike.
BASE TOOL: 38 Police
ATTACHMENTS: Short Factory Barrel
CALIBER: .38 Special
[PL 2]
The single most popular handgun in the NEU, chambered in a ubiquitous cartridge that's traveled the world twice over. Nearly every household with a gun permit has at one point or another owned a .38, whether it was inherited or bought for dirt cheap. Some prefer using this piece over their own standard-issue handgun, as it remains a pleasant reminder of home, even in the field.
BASE TOOL: Seraph 330
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: .357 Magnum
[PL 2]
A shorter barrel version of the Seraph 550 revolver, informally known as "Baby Falcon". Although it cannot fit a thermal scope or electronic warfare system into its frame as its larger cousin can, the 330 features a threaded barrel and sealed firing mechanism that permits it to be fully suppressed, unlike most other revolvers.
SAPHIRE SAFE REWARD [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Seraph 550
ATTACHMENTS: None
CALIBER: .44 Magnum
[PL 2]
The Seraph 550, nicknamed "Sea Falcon", is known for its reliance on pre-war tech, as its sight contains an ECWM (Electronic Warfare Uplink) and was built to be used along soldiers' ARDs. Nowadays due to the lack of abundant technology present in the USRF's arsenal, the revolver has become significantly less popular due to its pronounced weight, but the functions it provides still prove useful in the hands of those that know how to use them.
BASE TOOL: Indie Single Action
ATTACHMENTS: Wooden Grip, Grip Strap
CALIBER: .357 Magnum
[PL 2]
A locally-sourced single action .357 revolver, nicknamed "Indie", sometimes made with parts cannibalized from other firearms or created from scrap by gunsmiths. A certain volume of wastelanders prefer the Indie over other revolvers due to its powerful caliber, enough to stop most wildlife in its tracks, although its single-action nature makes follow-up shots a difficult prospect.
BASE TOOL: Smith DES
ATTACHMENTS: Long Range Adapter, Full Shroud, DES Bayonet, GloSights Green
CALIBER: 5mm Electromagnetic
[PL 2]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Hailing from the western parts of the United States, the Smith DES is a powerful and unique sidearm, combining the technology found in gauss guns with the compact size of a handgun.. Produced by the enigmatic DESERT Nation and powered by reliable ferrophosphate batteries, some shipments of the gun have found their way into the hands of USRF units thanks to local traders and suppliers, a matter only exacerbated by the weapon's incredibly cheap ammunition.
CQC PACK [IN GAME SCRAP SHOP]
BASE TOOL: NEMS-X45 "Nemesis"
ATTACHMENTS: Plastic Grip, Covert Furniture, Gray Slide
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
The Nemesis exists as a competitor to the Mendel platform, and was directly compared against the Mendel-XR in trials for the USRF's adoption of a new standard-issue sidearm. Firing .45 ACP instead of 9x19 Para or 5.7mm NEU, it has seen a resurgence in the markets across the Union and the wasteland after its bid to the NEAF failed. It sees plentiful usage amongst soldiers that look for a little bit extra in terms of stopping power, and sports the same capacity for a suppressor as most Mendels.
HALLOWEEN 2024: GHOST CHALLENGE WEEK 3 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: M1911A1
ATTACHMENTS: Vintage Black, Fiberglass Black, Vintage Black
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
A relic of the past and the symbol of what America once was, the Colt 1911 is one of the most widespread handguns through the world, used in well over three world wars and dozens of other conflicts. Despite its remarkable age, instances of the M1911 are still seen favorably by many due to its proven reliability, ruggedness, and American cultural significance. Thanks to vast surplus stockpiles of the weapon surviving the flash along with machining tools, and with blueprints being widely available, it was one of the go-to firearms of the Early Militia.
BASE TOOL: Harp
ATTACHMENTS: Harp 'Praire' Frame, Polymer Grip Panels
CALIBER: .22 LR
[PL 2] it should really be PL1 -cryp
The Harp is one of the most widely available pistols in the Northeastern Union, firing the remarkably common .22 LR caliber. Considered by many hobbyists an entry level gun, the Harp is renowned for its usage in both hunting small game and in target shooting. Certain models of the Harp exist for both covert applications and competetive shooting, and the familiarity many soldiers have with the weapon means that it finds a place amongst them in spite of its less-powerful caliber.
BASE TOOL: SR-57
ATTACHMENTS: 5.7x28mm, 45rd Magazine, PDW Receiver, Standard PDW Barrel, PDW Foregrip
CALIBER: 5.7x28mm NEU
[PL 2]
As part of the SR-57 program, the PDW-57 is a version of the NEAF bullpup downsized to fire 5.7x28mm. This approach proved practical for the NEAF, as it removed the need to supply brand-new platforms to soldiers, instead ensuring they could modify the already-extant SR-57 platform into compact PDWs. The PDW-57 is mostly seen with security personnel, vehicle crews, and as a backup weapon in the hands of assaulters, inheriting the SR-57's title of "Shredder" given their remarkable fire rates.
BASE TOOL: Pipe Pistol "Locust"
ATTACHMENTS: 25rd Magazine, Locust "Firebrand" Stock, Locust Shrouded Barrel
CALIBER: 9x17mm (.32 Sunrise)
[PL 2]
A locally produced submachine gun hailing from Southpoint State, famous for its modularity. Original instances of the Locust were produced in Darkport and utilized by mutant warbands, but the design has long since spread beyond the confines of the State's own militants. Instances of the weapon can be seen mostly with predominantly mutant units, but the modular nature, capacity for attachments and muzzle devices, and optional drum magazine ensures that it has a place amongst any group of soldiers.
IN-GAME LEVEL 6
BASE TOOL: Scrap SMG "Finch"
ATTACHMENTS: "Boxer" Barrel, Finch Waterpipe Stock, War-Torn Handle
CALIBER: 9x19mm
[PL 2]
Similar to the Spade, the Finch exists as a product of necessity, with the majority of instances manufacturered with cheap stamped metal designs and parts from other weapons. BASE TOOL: Pipe Rifle "Jakob"
ATTACHMENTS: Wood Stock, .45 Conversion, Short Barrel, Scrap Heatshield, Draica Tactical Sight
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
A cheap yet effective submachine gun chambered in .45 ACP produced by local gunsmiths, its original design hails from the "Jakob" series of rifles, fitted with a fully automatic receiver and a single stack magazine. CALIBER: .30 Super Carry
[PL 2]

The .30 Super Carry cartridge was selected for its small size yet performance similar to 9x19mm, allowing the firearm to have a large ammunition pool while preserving reliability and magazine performance. Thanks to its compact size it can be seen in hands of NEAF soldiers after a handful were captured from SU depots.
BASE TOOL: Ifrit
ATTACHMENTS: Ifrit Factory Barrel, Ifrit Black Furniture, Ifrit Iron Sights
CALIBER: 5.7x28mm NEU
[PL 2]
A Turkish upgrade to the once famous FN P90, offering superior ergonomics and caliber modularity compared to its Belgian counterpart. During the pre-Flash days, the Ifrit was exported to the United States and Canada, seeing service among local forces, and due to hefty numbers of these firearms being imported, it would be no surprise that some survived the nuclear holocaust, landing themselves in the hands of the USRF. Thanks to its large magazine capacity and reliability, the Ifrit can be found among law enforcement personnel and vehicle crews.
SUMMER RAIN 2024
BASE TOOL: Kochikame
ATTACHMENTS: Polymer Magwell Plate, Normal Barrel, Lower Attachment Rail, Polymer Foregrip

[PL 2]
A handheld submachinegun derivative of the popular Uzi platform, the Kochikame is a lightweight weapon that can field a handful of attachments useful in a number of environments, from a foregrip for usage by vehicle crews to a stub-barrel commonly allowing the weapon to be used as a sidearm for security forces and soldiers alike. The submachinegun even sees usage amongst a rare handful of special forces groups, thanks to its compact nature, compatibility with suppressors, and capacity for modification with a variety of different optics. It sees usage in the USRF by both vehicle crewmen and frontline soldiers alike - a reliable, rapid-fire option far more compact than any rifle.
BASE TOOL: Norte
ATTACHMENTS: Norte Grip, Norte Holo
CALIBER: 10mm
[PL 2]
A fairly old submachine gun originating from South America. How it made its way to North America is unclear, but somehow the SU ended up with the blueprints required to make their own. A few hundred examples of these submachine guns were captured from SU weapon depots during the Roanoke Conflict, which remain in limited service with the USRF today.
CQC PACK [IN GAME SCRAP SHOP]

HALLOWEEN 2024 BONUS PRIZE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Gremlin
ATTACHMENTS: 'Ogre' Muzzle Break, 'Striker' Foregrip
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
Originating from America's wastelands, the Gremlin is a plea from mercenaries, security personnel and adventurers for a compact cheap weapon with a good output of rounds. With its proven reliability, it is no surprise that the gun made its way into the arsenal of nation states across North America, being used by both sides of the First Union War, the USRF employs it amongst security personnel and vehicle crewmen, however there are a few accounts of the weapon being used by airmen as a survival gun.
CHRISTMAS 2024: MEDIUM BOX ALPHA [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Calliope-45
ATTACHMENTS: Constable Lower Receiver, "Fishhook" Folding Stock, Constable Handguard
CALIBER: .45 ACP
[PL 2]
Produced by Lone Star Arms. The Calliope was marketed towards a broad variety of independent police units within the Greater Texan Republic. Due to it's small compact size and insanely cheap price, it was quickly adopted across the IPUs across Texas. However in time, due to rising levels of corruption and mismanagement within these police units. Large amounts of the Calliope-45 ended up in the hands of Mercenaries and Gun Brokers across the wasteland, as these guns were bought and sold. They inevitably ended up in the hands of the Lakeside Divison and are mainly given to the Southern Repatriates.
IN-GAME LEVEL 12
BASE TOOL: Bobwhite
ATTACHMENTS: Standard Block, Standard Barrels
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
Your run of the mill Double Barrel 12-gauge shotgun, its simplicity and ease of use makes it a very known and popular around the globe. It gained some unusual popularity in the USRF ranks as a few soldiers brought them from home for anti-drone warfare.
BASE TOOL: Sterling Field-A
ATTACHMENTS: Sterling Prototype 935 Barrel / Sterling Field-A Fowl Barrel
CALIBER: Gauss .72 ferromagnetic slugs or flechette capsule / 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A double barrel Over/Under hammerless shotgun based off the Stoeger Condor, it is popular amongst hunters due to its lengthy barrel and simple operation mechanism, however some are seen in service by USRF soldiers and just like the Bobwhite, the Sterling was often seen in the anti-drone role, as it turns out small observation quadcopters are a bit less resilient than ducks.
A field modification for the Sterling known as "Prototype 935" allows the gun to fire magnetically accelerated flechettes or slugs, some being used against unarmored combatants at close range with devastating effect, but it still lacks the proper armor penetration that a rifle offers.
NOTE: THE PROTOTYPE 935 BARREL REQUIRES ADVANCED WEAPONS TRAINING.
BASE TOOL: Ranger 12
ATTACHMENTS: Faux Full Wood Furniture, Short Magazine, Faux Wood Grip
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A lever action shotgun of southern origin. It gained its charm due to a few movies featuring it and due to its simplicity and relative cheap price it was commonly found amongst Southern Union breachers and assaulting roles during the early stages of the war, nowadays most moved on to more sophisticated pump action or semi-automatic shotguns. The Ranger 12 can be found amongst USRF ranks, mostly in Southern Repatriated units as the firearm still holds a certain symbolism.
FREE ITEM
BASE TOOL: Draica
ATTACHMENTS: Draica Tactical Sight, Draica Shield, Draica Wood Handle
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A famous 12-gauge pump action shotgun found in almost every corner of the wasteland thanks to its simple mechanism, abundant ammunition, cheap manufacturing price due to its use of eMahogany, and reliability as a shotgun. BASE TOOL: Browning Auto-5
ATTACHMENTS: Factory Stock, Factory Medium Barrel, Short Grip, Factory Receiver
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
An ancient firearm, the original design dating back to the end of the 19th century, the Auto-5 has seen a rebirth among local gunsmiths and arms producers across the wasteland and unions, thanks to its fairly simple manufacturing process due to its antique mechanism. Chambered in 12 gauge the Automatic 5 is the first successful semi-automatic shotgun, however quality of these firearms may vary depending on who built it. Nevertheless, the Auto 5 is an extremely popular choice for frontiersmen and some USRF soldiers thanks to its semi-automatic firing mode and ruggedness.
BASE TOOL: Keystone SSS
ATTACHMENTS: eMahogany Civilian Pump, Impulse Stock, eMahogany Handle
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A compact shotgun also known as "Keystone SSS", due to its size and versatility it is preferred by most for breaching doors and assaulting positions, however due to its shorter barrel the shotgun has a shorter range. A special variant of it exists and can be found as an underbarrel accessory, providing assault rifles a potent door breaching tool. The M48 is often found in hands of Assaulters and security personnel across the NEAF.
Note: The underbarrel Keystone attachment is reserved exclusively for assaulters
BASE TOOL: Cinquedea
ATTACHMENTS: Modern Handguard, Modern Stock
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A bullpup pump-action shotgun, taking inspiration from the old Kel-Tec KSG, albeit it only has one tube holding 7 rounds instead of the two the KSG has, moreover it can also be seen as an attempt to bring the advantage of bullpups to the world of shotguns, some praise it for its compact size and pump action being closer to the center mass of the gun, making it a bit harder to throw your aim off.
BASE TOOL: Anileid
ATTACHMENTS: Anielid 20 Handle
CALIBER: 12-gauge / 20-gauge
[PL 2]
A modular shotgun that can be fitted with a 12-gauge or 20-gauge barrel and receiver. First built by White Bay Armory the Anileid was criticized for being too expensive compared to its counterparts, resulting in a poor sales figure, however commerce protection teams quickly picked up the shotgun for its performance in the cold lake environment. After its arsenal's closure in 2158, most were exported and some found themselves in hands of USRF grunts.
BASE TOOL: ACS-20
ATTACHMENTS: 14rd Magazine, Ripcord Stock, Vintage Foregrip, Vintage Sight Mount
CALIBER: 20-gauge
[PL 2]
An Italian combat shotgun that primarily found use in law enforcement and SWAT teams. The decision to chamber it in 20 gauge as opposed to 12 gauge was seen as bizarre but was likely chosen due to being automatic. It was heavily marketed in the United States where it was adopted by various police departments, including in Sunrise City. Civilian versions were made with a smaller capacity magazine in a semi-automatic-only configuration; however, controversy arose over the ability to very easily convert these models back into full-auto. Enough models still exist post-Flash for it to see uncommon usage across the continental United States and beyond, with some in the hands of the USRF.
BASE TOOL: AA36
ATTACHMENTS: Box mag, Black Polymer Stock, Black Polymer Barrel, Black Polymer Grip
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A fully automatic 12-gauge shotgun, loved by many for its versatility in trench warfare and destructive power against eldritches, being able to hose down anything with multiple 12-gauge shells, but managing to keep the shotgun steady while emptying a magazine is hard and painful due to its high recoil. The AA-36 is also known for being expensive and requiring a lot of maintenance, a poorly maintained AA-36 is prone to multiple jams that are hard to clear. Due to its price tag, only a few AA-36 models are seen among USRF troops, most being used by shock units down on the Southern front.
NOTE: DRUM MAGAZINE IS RESTRICTED
BASE TOOL: M2128 "Breacher" / M2128 "Assaulter"
ATTACHMENTS: Short rail, Muzzle Break, Heat Shield, Standard Mag, Covert Handle, Retractable Stock
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
Produced by Union Arms, the M2128 is a domestic reproduction of the old Benelli M3 dual mode shotgun, being able to be easily modified into a pump action or semi-automatic firearm with the switch of a few parts. It is often seen in homes of gun owners and frontier settlements, furthermore it wasn't unlikely to see NEAF troops sporting the weapon, some assaulters have been seen using the "Assaulter" configuration in trench clearing operations down South, this is mainly due to the SU's inability to issue most of their forces body armor, making it a deadly option against unarmored targets.
BASE TOOL: Luzerne
ATTACHMENTS: 8rd, 12 Gauge, Heatshield
CALIBER: 12-gauge / 10-gauge
[PL 2]
There isn't much to say aside from its hideous looks, used by the most unfortunate of soldiers within the NEAF armed forces, or those forced to fight for it in exchange for freedom or redemption. The Luzerne is a DIY scrap shotgun is usually chambered in 12 gauge, however it can be modified to fire 10 gauge in a single shot configuration, however both wasters and soldiers claims that it better suits the role of a hand grenade instead. The Black Mountain Brigade NCOs and COs advises its soldiers to not lay a finger on this gun, however the same cannot be said for the Green Rifles, PIB or some of the repatriates.
BASE TOOL: Scattecrosis
ATTACHMENTS: Bolted Guard, Oldwood Stock, 8rd Muckshot, Oldwood Pump
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
A rudimentary yet fearsome looking pump action shotgun. Its true origins are unknown, some claim it was made for for Coalition needs during the Huroni wars while others says it was the invention of seasoned eldritch hunters trying to have a go at the arms manufacturing markets. The Scattercrosis is a rather unique shotgun, its modularity allows it to work with a magazine holding 8 rounds of 12 gauge, allowing the user for a speedier reload during the fighting, it is also noticeable accurate when firing slugs, sporting a proprietary scope mount. The gun can be seen in the hands of USRF assaulters and security personnel however the magazines for the gun may take more space on an assaulter's kit instead of loose 12 gauge rounds.
One of the ammunition often associated with the gun are rounds tipped with traces of biomass, presenting a hazard to the user if handled improperly and to anyone shot by said ammo, as it can create nasty bacterial infections on the victim. The USRF has forbidden any and all usage of the ammunition, citing the hazards for the user.
BASE TOOL: Frontliner DES
ATTACHMENTS: DES Heavy Stock, Converter, Converter Shotgun Barrel, Shotgun Magazine 12ga 10rd, Converter Handguard, CRSR Shotgun Choke
CALIBER: 12-gauge
[PL 2]
Ruggedized, advanced, and superbly powerful, the Converter DES is one of many modifications a prospective buyer can make to the Frontliner platform. Manufactured by DESERT Nation, the shotgun's fully-automatic nature, reliable box magazine, and pronounced capacity for further modification make it a superb choice by many western seaboard mercenaries alike. The ubiquitous nature of DES products has ensured that a good many have fallen into the mitts of the USRF's assaulters, though it bears a pronounced increase in weight beyond the likes of standard-issue shotgun platforms.
BASE TOOL: SR-51
ATTACHMENTS: Short Barrel, 20rnd .277, Classic Wooden Stock, Classic Wooden Handguard, Front Sight, Carryhandle
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
Being the first field trial of the SR-51, the XSR-5A1 was developed in the 2140's and mass produced in the thousands. The XSR-5A1 closely resembles the classic M16 originally fielded by the United States from centuries past, with an almost exact mechanical setup. The only difference between the 5A1 and the later 5A2 is the real wood furnishing. The wood was replaced by faux-wood, and later polymer, as it turned out to be more efficient in the field.
BASE TOOL: SR-51
ATTACHMENTS: Short Barrel, 20rnd .277, Classic Stock, Classic Handguard, Front Sight, Carryhandle
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
Another batch of rifles for field testing by the USRF. Almost identical to the 5A1 but features polymer furnishing instead of wood. This change was made after testing revealed that the wood furnishing was at risk of catching fire under continuous fire. The XSR-5A1 and A2 both come with a fixed carry handle and iron sights, not allowing much in the way of modularity.
BASE TOOL: SR-51
ATTACHMENTS: 20rnd .277, Modern Stock, SR-51 Modern Iron Sight, Short Barrel, Flat Front Sight, Modern Handguard
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
The SR-51 is the first standard issue weapon to enter USRF service. Unlike the XSR-5A1 and A2, the SR-51 features modern furnishing with picatinny rail to allow for more modularity. However, this also came at a cost, as these weapon parts were outsourced by Union Arms to subcontractors, resulting in critical "stovepipe" jams when fired in automatic fire mode.
BASE TOOL: SR-57
ATTACHMENTS: 30 rd magazine, Mod4 Receiver, Mod4 Assault Barrel, Mod4 Foregrip, ACOG
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
As the NEU's weapon manufacturing industry grew, so did the need for a new rifle as the SR-51, despite its initial success, still had a plethora of underlying issues and could be vastly improved upon. Thus, the SR-57 was born as the NEU's first true modular weapons platform, using the bullpup principle to increase mobility, make it more compact and easier to handle, the rifle can also be modified into a PDW or a DMR version.
BASE TOOL: SR-60 Platform
ATTACHMENTS: Commander Barrel, 30 .277, Standard Issue Build, Commander Iron Sights, Commander Handguard
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
Considered the pinnacle of mass-produced NEU firearms, the SR-60 is the ultimate evolution of the SR platform, utilizing more precise machinery for manufacturing and improving vastly upon the SR-57. The final product is a more accurate, modular rifle, and with a higher fire rate than the SR-57 MOD4, though not all USRF soldiers have the luxury of sporting one of these - often instead relying on the SR-57 platform or SR-51s for their many duties.
BASE TOOL: M65A5
ATTACHMENTS: M65A5 Extendable Stock, M65A5 Integrated Suppressor, Iron Sight M65A5
CALIBER: 6.8x45mm NEU
[PL 3]
The M65A5's development was unusually problematic. Starting as the Syracuse Design Bureau's bid for the Reclamation Force's small-arms trials, the XR-59S was rejected in favor of the eventual SR-60 platform. Rectifying production defects and design flaws became a multi-year ordeal, during which development shifted away from a universal platform and towards a specialist carbine for upper-echelon troops. The perceived inadequacies of this development cycle ended in an internal investigation whereas subsequent production rights were given to Union Arms under the M65A5 moniker (The rifle lacks an official U.S.R.F. designation).
BASE TOOL: Pipe Rifle "Jakob"
ATTACHMENTS: Wood Stock, .308 Conversion, Long Barrel, Scrap Heatshield, Scrap Handguard, Long Barrel Strap, Draica Tactical Sight
CALIBER: .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
Due to the Wintertide cutting off almost all supply lines into Sunrise, this led local gunsmiths and traders to improvise and work with what they had, being mostly made of stamped metal and whatever people could find by scavenging in the city, the Jakob is now a famous pipe rifle that shows the will of the people in Sunrise to... kill each other. Soon, multiple Jakobs would find its way into the markets of Black Mountain, and soon, to conserve resources, the Jakob would be fielded by the USRF's most impoverished units, with quality varying wildly, some riflemen are fearful that their gun might turn into a grenade and blow up on their faces, but until then there isn't much they can do.
SUMMER RAIN 2022 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Crusader Ballistic
ATTACHMENTS:
CALIBER: .223 Remington
[PL 3]
An older M14 style rifle still issued to SU reservist units. A good deal of professional soldiers swear by it even today, with NEU and SU special forces opting to use this weapon due to its reliability in the most extreme of environments, and availability of ammo in all war theaters. Originally collected by USRF soldiers as trophies, but now in limited service with the USRF.

BASE TOOL: PmQ-900
ATTACHMENTS: Logsplitter Stock, Logsplitter Handle, Logsplitter Foregrip
CALIBER: .223 Remington
[PL 3]
The standard rifle (or at least the most commonly seen) in Free Appalachia. Despite its rustic and frail appearance, it has proven itself in the field multiple times for its sturdiness and reliability in the field. The design has spread itself like wildfire across the wastes, having been picked up by both the USRF and Southern Union forces. Designated as the "SR-90 MOD 1" in the NEU, it is mostly seen in the hands of reservists and underfunded units. Members of the Southern Repatriates hailing from the Free Appalachian State tend to favor the use of this weapon due to their familiarity with the weapon.
BASE TOOL: Weaver
ATTACHMENTS: Weaver "Rattler" Receiver, Weaver Barrel Band, Weaver "Rattler" Barrel, Weaver Metal Heat Handguard, Pike Bayonet, Weaver Wooden Grip, Weaver Pistol Grip Adapter, Crusader Stock
CALIBER: 8mm COAL
[PL 3]
(Restricted to: Northern Repatriates)
The catch-all "standard" variant of the Weaver platform, the Rattler is a service rifle originally designed in 2151 and put into service by the Great Lakes Coalition in 2155. Though antiquated in design, the rifle's magazine capacity and proprietary ammo type made it a reliable tool for defeating scrap body armor, a trait that allows it to serve the Gold Leaf Army well into the modern day. While not standard issue for any USRF units, the Northern Repatriates make exhaustive usage of the rifle, due to many of them having been issued the weapon previously as their service rifle.

BASE TOOL: AR-15
ATTACHMENTS: 5.56Mag30Rd, DESERT Stock Black, Upper Receiver (Gray), VLOK Handguard (Black), CBL Thin Grip, Assault Barrel, DESERT Assault Compensator
CALIBER: 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington
[PL 3]
The AR-15, being traced back to 1957 when ArmaLite scaled down an AR-10 to .223 Remington. Once a staple of American gun ownership, the AR-15's design has stood the test of time and multiple trials by fire, seeing service in multiple conflicts around the globe for over 100 years. Nowadays it's still popular as both a reliable assault rifle and a common find in hands of wastelanders and other organizations, however most rifles would move on from the .223/5.56x45 cartridges, instead opting for the .277 Fury, 6.8 SPC, etc. The AR-15 can still be seen among USRF forces, albeit in limited numbers, thanks to the 5.56/.223 caliber being largely phased out.

CALIBER: .223 Remington / 5.56x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
An Australian version of the Steyr AUG (Armee-Universal-Gewehr) which was extensively modernized during the 21st Century. Around 2050, the weapon was widely exported to NATO countries, including the United States, resulting in it becoming the backbone of certain Early Militia regiments during the twilight days of the NEU. Popular for its compact size that results in the weapon excelling in close quarters, it is rumored that it inspired the NEU's bullpup doctrine, being fairly similar to the SR-57. The rifle is also compatible with a "Para" conversion, chambered in 9x19mm or 5.7x28mm NEU.
BASE TOOL: K59SB
ATTACHMENTS: K59SB Black Modern Grip, K59SB Black Modern Stock
CALIBER: .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
As small arms shifted in doctrine and began adopting different calibers, such as .277, this meant that battle rifles would lose popularity as it would adopt the "best of both worlds" between 5.56 and 7.62, however the K59 stands as one of the last battle rifles made. Some claim it is an evolution of H&K's G3 rifle series as both use extremely similar cartridges (.308 win and 7.62 NATO), some USRF servicemen can be seen fielding the K59 as they seek the punch and high muzzle velocity of said rifle cartridges, albeit some theorists will disapprove its usage, citing terminal ballistics as the bullets may over penetrate the target.

BASE TOOL: Chicxulub
ATTACHMENTS: Chicxulub Receiver, Raíz Infantry Barrel, Raíz Adjusting Stock
CALIBER: .308 Winchester
[PL 3]
Originally the standard battle rifle of the Mexican armed forces, the Chicxulub would also be widely exported to Central American governments and militias. Stockpiles of these weapons would survive the Flash due to Mexico being relatively out of harm's way during the nuclear exchange, and soon it would be exported north to the Greater Texas Republic, which also exported the surplus to the Northeastern Union, being seen in hands of NEAF soldiers operating in hot climates as it excels in dealing with heat.
BASE TOOL: FCA-64

CALIBER: .223 Remington / 5.56x51mm NATO / .223 CEPI
[PL 3]
Being produced in post-Flash Russia, this weapon can be see as a throwback to the old Russian Empire, since the trade corridor between the two continents is located in Alaska. In Free Alaska, the weapon is further exported to Canadian and American statelets, mostly the Northwestern Federation. Some of these weapons were captured by NEAF personnel in expeditions against Canadian militias up north, while others were purchased by soldiers, earning the reputation of a robust firearm.

BASE TOOL: M16A2
ATTACHMENTS: Full Stock, Factory Barrel, Factory Flash Hider, A2 Handguard, Polymer Grip, 30Rd 5.56 Magazine
CALIBER: .223 Remington / 5.56x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
Adapted from the ArmaLite AR-15 series of rifle, the M16 is a dinosaur in service with the USRF, the A2 variant has its roots back in the Vietnam war after the USMC's experience with the A1 rifle, it would be adopted in 1983 by the marines and the other branches of the US Armed Forces would soon follow suit. Due to large stockpiles of the weapon surviving the war, plus the machinery and blueprints for reproduction of the rifle were right there, the M16 can still be seen in hands of USRF servicemen in both reserve and frontline units, however, most prefer the SR-51 due to its automatic firing mode and the stopping power offered by the 6.8mm.
BASE TOOL: Garand
ATTACHMENTS: Garand Full-Length Barrel
CALIBER: .277 Fury or .308 Winchester, rarely .30-06
[PL 3 .227 Fury / .308 Win] & [PL 4 .30-06]
The Garand is perhaps one of the most recognized guns in North America, designed in 1924 it has seen service around the globe for two centuries, making its combat debut back in World War 2 in the hands of the United States Army, being a revolutionary firearm compared to the standard bolt actions of the time and it went on to see action in many more conflicts in the hands of different states, groups, etc. The Garand is still reproduced by arms companies, independent gunsmiths and unaffiliated settlements and it is listed as ceremonial use only for the NEAF, however some soldiers were seen utilizing the rifle in active combat.
CHRISTMAS 2024: SMALL BOX [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: AK-26
ATTACHMENTS: Post-Flash Foregrip, Post-Flash Vertical Grip, Pre-Flash Stock
CALIBER: 7x41mm Caseless
[PL 3]
The AK-26 was designed by the Kalashnikov Concern in the year 2026 as a bid to incorporate caseless ammunition in the Russian Federation's armed forces, instead of the classic 5.45x39mm it uses the new 7x41mm caseless that offered some more enhanced ballistics and post penetration damage to its target, however many officers and soldiers found the rifle to be an oddity in terms of design philosophy, unlike other AKs its fed by a top magazine much like the P90 series rather than the banana magazines. During the 2030s the rifle would be mass produced and exported far and wide to Russia's allies however the trades slowed down as the state collapsed and people fought for control of its vast industrial areas.
A limited number of AK-26s managed to make its way into the USA pre-flash, through both legal and illegal means, but the post-flash era trade between Eastern Russian clans/nation states and their North American counterparts such as Free Alaska meant that reasonable numbers of these firearms would trickle down to the Great Lakes region, and some ended up being picked by USRF servicemen. Due to the ammunition being very specific and rather exotic, local ammo manufacturers and factions attempted to replicate the Russian caseless ammunition, resulting in rounds that are less accurate than their original pre-flash version.
CHRISTMAS 2024: LARGE BOX ALPHA [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: R.I 9 "Grim"
ATTACHMENTS: XM Furniture White, 30rd 6.8 FASTMAG, Militia '7' Handguard White, Zelus ACOG White, Militia '7' Stock White
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
The origins of the gun can be traced all the way over to the West Coast, being a revamped version of the pre-flash of the Heckler & Koch XM8 as part of the Objective Individual Combat Weapon (OICW) program, produced by the elusive Zelus Armaments & Biotechnics. In 2161 the rifle was brought over to the East Coast in an attempt to sell off surplus of the gun, however this move caught the eyes of Roginsky Industries, one of the Union's companies that specializes in heavy machinery and droid assembly and in true wasteland fashion, would make some carbon copies of the rifle and presented it to the USRF, only to be rejected in favor of the SR-60, but some of the guns were still kept floating around in NEAF arsenals and can be seen in the hands of soldiers from time to time. The designation SR-63 refers to the year 2163 when the rifle was first presented.

CALIBER: .223 Remington / 5.56x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
A Polish made rifle that was designed for the Polish Armed Forces to replace the AK pattern FB Beryl firearm, its development began in 2007 by FB "Łucznik" Radom as part of the Modułowy System Broni Strzeleckiej (Modular Firearm System) program. The rifle would go on to be accepted by the Polish army and make rounds around NATO countries and other international customers, being seen as a rival to the HK416, furthermore both the United States and Canada would import a multitude of rifles, both for the military and civilian market.
Contrary to popular belief, the United States Armed Forces never officially used the gun but instead created stocks of NATO weaponry to be sent or sold to allied countries in case a crisis arose amidst World War 3, many of these stocks would survive the flash and the guns would see combat in the hands of the Unions, paramilitaries and militias, the USRF still owns quite a handful of these guns however they are not as popular due to its caliber.
CHRISTMAS 2024: LARGE BOX ZETA [UNATTAINABLE]

CALIBER: .223 Remington / 5.56x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
The bullpup configuration of the MSBS Grot rifle, unlike most other rifles in this configuration, the B model shares the same universal receiver as the Grot A, making it easy to convert either model by just swapping the lower receiver. Some suggest that the Grot B's lower configuration influenced the Northeastern Union's bullpup pattern rifles, however that remains unconfirmed.
SUMMER RAIN 2023 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: FAL
ATTACHMENTS: FAL Handle, Long Green Plastic Barrel, Green Plastic Stock
CALIBER: .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
Designed back in the cold war, the FN FAL was once called "the right arm of the free world" due to its ample usage by NATO countries and its aligned countries, exported far and wide through the first and third world alike. The design would go on to see over a hundred years of combat, ranging from the early African colonial wars to the very last days of World War 3 in the 2070s, having multiple variants and modifications that is hard to count.
One of the biggest users was Canada, having stockpiles of the weapons that would be given to territorial defense and other second hand units, the variant used by the Canadians was a license built version of the American DSA SA58 FAL, created by David Selvaggio Arms. The rifle would still be in service with the Canadian military before its capitulation, meaning that stockpiles of the gun were ripe for the tacking by the NEAF.
CHRISTMAS 2024: LARGE BOX ZETA [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: VIPER-X
ATTACHMENTS: Classic Chassis - Black Laminate, Short Barrel, Semi Automatic Receiver, 20Rd .308 Magazine
CALIBER: .308 Winchester / 7.62x51mm NATO
[PL 3]
A rather unusual variant of the Viper series of rifle, the SOCOM is a short barreled semi automatic variant that fires .308 Winchester, due to the shorter barrel it is not as accurate as a Viper DMR at longer distances which makes the gun unpopular amongst Designed Marksmen and other sharpshooters.
Unlike popular belief, the rifle was never designed nor used by any special forces, instead it's just clever marketing advertising the gun for civilians and contractors alike, however some soldiers can be seen using the weapon for security duties due to its stopping power.

BASE TOOL: AMCW-54, The Relic
ATTACHMENTS: No Special, 30Rd 5.56 AMCW Magazine, Stock
CALIBER: 5.56x45mm NATO / .223 Remington
[PL 3]
The Advanced Modular Combat Weapon was previously one of the USMC's most well-regarded service weapons prior to the Flash. Though it fell into disuse due to the rising popularity of more streamlined successors that utilized more modern cartridges, many units remained in storage even long after the bombs fell. While most have long since become inoperable due to age, a rare handful of these rifles survive as historical artifacts and powerful examples of old-world engineering.
Surviving examples of the rifle have earned the nickname 'relic' due to their pronounced rarity and substantial modular power.

Though most commonly seen in its Frontliner full-length rifle form, the weapon is suited to almost any combat role through its many variants, which allow the firearm's upper receiver to be quickly swapped for a multitude of environmental applications. These many different possible functions ensure the Frontliner's place among a rare few USRF units, though users are only ever given the variety of the weapon that befits their assigned role.

(Restricted to: Auto Gunner, Light+)
The machine gun variant of the SR-57 platform, retrofitted with a new gas system and barrel, the M57 SAW is able to dish a higher volume of bullets without the risk of jamming or overheating the firearm, however the new system increases the weapon's weight, making it a bit cumbersome for the average rifleman to carry it around, it usually comes combined with 65 round magazines, some gun nuts claims it has adopted the same doctrine as the Russian "RPK" series of firearms.
BASE TOOL: SR-60 Platform

As tradition, the Drummer is the light machine gun version of the SR-60 platform, featuring a new receiver, gas system and barrel to sustain its high volume of bullets. The Drummer is often used along with a 75 round cylindrical drum magazine, which was greeted with mixed feelings from soldiers, some saying the weapon is easier to repack its magazine, not requiring to link ammunition belts and being able to be done by any grunt in a trench, but some complains sometimes the drum might jam and feels a bit cumbersome. The SR-60B has cemented itself as the standard USRF light machine gun and can be found in almost every squad.

An ever-aging design, the Bren - otherwise known as the L4 - is a light machinegun best known for its usage in World War II, the Korean War, and a number of other conflicts throughout the 20th century. While the original design has long since been depreciated, the recognizable top-mounted box magazine and wooden furniture remain guaranteed staples of many wasteland reproductions, particularly amidst the Canadian militias that sought to arm themselves against the USRF in the brief NEU-Canadian war. With a number of the guns taken as trophies, the Bren sees limited use by the Northern Repatriates.

CALIBER: .223 Remington
[PL 3]
(Restricted to: Auto Gunner, Light+)
As the name implies, Bootleggers are illegally made light machine guns using mismatched gun parts and crude machining. Notorious among the ranks of USRF Gendarmerie Nationale, the Bootlegger is very closely associated with anti-NEU movements, both at home and abroad. Originally believed to have been made by Quebecois insurgents during the Canadian occupation, evidence points to deliberate training and material assistance to various anti-NEU groups such as Free Halifax and the SDLF. All the same, the Bootlegger nonetheless sees an ironic volume of service in the USRF itself, often in the hands of units too poorly funded to field anything more proper.

The FCA-64B or "RP" is the light machine gun variant of the FCA-64 rifle, it is overall heavier and features a longer and thicker chrome-lined barrel that helps its sustained fire capability without loss of accuracy due to the barrel heating up, the weapon is the RPK-16's distant cousin and it is fundamentally a RPK but on the FCA platform. The USRF have acquired some of these machine guns, but they're far rarer and a bit costlier than standard autogunner platforms due to the weapon's parts proving expensive to manufacture.

Built to be lighter & easier to modify than contemporary machineguns, the M250 was also the first squad automatic weapon to use the now-ubiquitous 6.8 common cartridge, making it the distant grandfather of the modern SR-60B platform. The weapon's shared cartridge with the vast majority of the USRF's arsenal has ensured that it still finds a place in the hands of Light Autogunners, though proving to be far rarer than most other machineguns given its age.

Whether or not the rifle is fitted with a scope, the specialized 7.92mm rounds it uses ensure that shots are far more accurate than those from a standard Weaver, and the Hunter has been hailed as a reliable choice of rifle across the Great Lakes Coalition. HALLOWEEN 2024: CRYOMANCER'S CHALLENGE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: L1
ATTACHMENTS: Classic Poly Furniture, Falcon X6-10 Variable Zoom
CALIBER: .300 Win Mag
[PL 4]
(Restricted to: Black Mountain Brigade & Northern Repatriates - Medium Snipers)
The L1 is a pre-Flash weapon from Canada, seen as a further development of the Accuracy International AWM chambered in .300 Win Mag. It originated as a bid from the Canadian Emergency Response Team to have a rifle lighter than the C14 Timberwolf currently in service, some versions of the L1 were exported to the US as sporting rifles and it was also used by a few units of the Canadian Armed Forces during World War 3. Stockpiles of the weapons and a few local factories survival meant that its production continued post-flash under the new government. Caches of the weapon were acquired by the USRF during its wars up north, with some being given to snipers within the NEAF's ranks.
HALLOWEEN 2024 CRYOMANCER'S CHALLENGE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: L1
ATTACHMENTS: Waster Furniture, Patterson 12x Hunting Scope
CALIBER: .300 Win Mag
[PL 4]
(Restricted to: Southern Repatriates - Medium Snipers)
With the post-Flash success of the L1, the socialists in the south sought to capitalize on its success and make their own version for their armed forces, the crux for this was that the SU lacked the machinery and technology to retrofit and field large bulks of pre-flash supplies, and they also wanted to make a gun that that's cheap and could be made with inexpensive and abundant resources. The "L1-SU" was somewhat successful, being accurate and cheaper compared to its original price, however there are notable reliability issues with the gun thanks to the program being rushed and the cheap materials it was made of. As time went on, a corrupt official were charged with selling the weapon's blueprints to the wasteland's black markets, combined with some examples being smuggled out of the SU into the wastes, meant that the weapon would soon be manufactured by gunsmiths and independent settlements.
BASE TOOL: SR-51
ATTACHMENTS: Flat Rail, Marksman Stock, 20rnd .277, Flat Front Sight, Long Barrel, Marksman Handguard, Falcon X6-10 Variable Zoom

Its ammunition being a pepper ball, akin to a paintball pellet except instead of paint it's a pepper like powdered substance that releases from the capsule on impact, neutralizing whoever inhales the substance (or touch it with a sensitive part of their body). The Remachador LL-5 is often seen being used by CSB and riot control units.
SUMMER RAIN 2022 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Crusader Laser
ATTACHMENTS: Crusader Stock
CALIBER: 750J Laser
[PL 2]
(Restricted to: Southern Repatriates - Advanced Weapons Training)
Originating from the Southern Union's infamous PraireFire program, which attempted to convert all of their guns into laser-based weaponry, the Crusader Laser is a conversion kit for the SU's reservist rifle, the M12 Crusader. The gun showcases the SU's lack of capable industry and sophisticated machinery to create laser weaponry from scratch, being made out of recycled electronics, however it turned out to be a little more usable than the USRF's M71 "Spectre", packing a decent 750J punch.
BASE TOOL: M40 "Wattz"
ATTACHMENTS: Scavenged Frame, Pristine Residual Charge Pack, Pristine Eyeglass Scope, Pristine Parts
CALIBER: 1000J Laser
[PL 2]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Hailing from the Alumni Campus, the M40 "Wattz" is one of the few scrap guns that combines both the desperation and poverty of wastelanders, and the old world's fancy technology. Being produced all the way back in 2124, some Wattz rifles are still seen being used by factions around, most of being worn out as time went. Some rifles can be found in the hands of the USRF thanks to its 1000J laser, making it a go-to weapon for any specialists with a low budget.
SUMMER RAIN 2023 [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Blackstar
ATTACHMENTS: Blackstar "Lazarus", Lazarus Rail, Blackstar Adjusting Stock
CALIBER: 825J Laser
[PL 1]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
The NLR "Blackstar" is a modular laser weapon design originating from the Noncompliance Location and Response team (NLR) based in the Pacific Union, the weapon is often associated with mercenary death squads in the PU during its days of corporate restructuring. It is unknown what truly happened, but the NLR sold off its assets east and some Blackstars found themselves in the hands of wastelanders, frontiersmen and NEAF soldiers. The Black Mountain garrison acquired some Blackstars by means of trade with local factions, being seen in the hands of a few specialists.
HALLOWEEN 2023: HYDROMANCER'S CHALLENGE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Trident T-72ULF
ATTACHMENTS: Trident Sight, Dark Mode, Dark Handguard
CALIBER: 1150J Laser
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
A pre-flash laser-based weapon capable of taking out targets underwater, initially issued to the coast guard and frogmen operating from submarines. The weapon performed poorly against targets such as large naval vessels and while underwater it had a shorter range, but it fared well against lightly armored unmanned surface vessel such as kamikaze boats, and against body armor. Nowadays the Trident doesn't have much of a place in the USRF due to the rarity of frogmen and the near impossibility to operate around the freezing waters of the Great Lakes, but it can be seen in a hands of a few specialists thanks to its 1150J laser.
ULTIMATE SAFE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: ANTEC M59 SOCOM
ATTACHMENTS: ANTEC M59 Stock, ANTEC M59 SOCOM Configuration
CALIBER: 750J Laser / 1400J Laser
[PL 2]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Whereas the Antec M63 platform is a modular marvel capable of being fitted for a variety of different combat situations, the older M59 trades modularity and ease-of-modification for raw firepower. Even in pistol form, the M59 fires with power that puts most modern laser rifles to shame, and a whopping one hundred round capacity - but with the intended carbine attachments, the weapon proves to be even stronger, whilst also boasting a higher 145 shot capacity per cell. The SOCOM platform saw usage pre-Flash in military applications that didn't require the modularity of the M63 platform, and even postwar it sees uncommon usage by the USRF for its reliability and deadly efficiency in the field.
BASE TOOL: Energia MK5
ATTACHMENTS: Improvised Chemical Battery, Hephaestus Core, Hephaestus Barrel, Tech Stock, Tech Handguard
CALIBER: 900J Laser
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Developed by the Alumni as the fifth generation of their Energia rifles over the course of the late 2150s, the Hephaestus model of the ubiquitous laser weapon remains a golden standard in the field of energy weaponry, serving as a reliable and incredibly potent example of Alumni ingenuity. Though specialized fusion cells allow the Hephaestus variant to fire with up to 1400J of power, the utilization of far more common improvised batteries only permits the weapon to output up to 900J.
NOTE: THE "JUPITER" CORE IS EWS ONLY. THE "ZEUS" CORE IS RESTRICTED.
BASE TOOL: Spectre
ATTACHMENTS: SPECTRE Factory Lens, SPECTRE Carry Handle, SPECTRE M4D Scope, SPECTRE Factory Grip
CALIBER: 200J Laser
[PL 1]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
A fully automatic laser weapon that was developed in the NEU in response to the SU's "Prairie Fire" program which sought to turn the Crusader rifle into a laser weapon, in the field its known for being bulky, heavy and some claim it doesn't hit hard enough, however the laser weapon can still boast a pretty good constant stream of fire, which some may prefer it over others. Due to its unpopularity and being surpassed by other laser-based weaponry, the Spectre can be seen in very limited quantities among USRF units.
BASE TOOL: XSR-60E "Oleander"
ATTACHMENTS: Iron Sights, Factory Grip
CALIBER: 625J Laser
[PL 1]
(Restricted to: EWS)
The Oleander can be seen as the NEU's right step on laser-based weaponry, it is a direct upgrade for the Spectre, being more lightweight, less chunky and using more sophisticated mechanisms to achieve its goal. Some consider it the Union's ultimate response to the SU's Prairie Fire program, surpassing the latter in almost every aspect, furthermore the XSR-60E can be upgraded with the US-MK62, an underbarrel Shockbreach attachment that can be used for breaching doors and neutralizing opposition. Being the cream of the crop, the XSR-60E is available in limited numbers in the USRF, some avoiding it entirely due to its expensive maintenance cost.
HALLOWEEN 2023: CARNOMANCER'S CHALLENGE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Experiment 405
ATTACHMENTS: "CHIAPPAS" Adaptive Barrel, Standard Furniture, Mk6 Personal Scope
CALIBER: 6x24mm Gauss Metal Projectile
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
An echo of technologies for future battlefields that perhaps humanity will take a long time to see, the CHIAPPAS 405 is a Gauss rifle that uses electromagnetic currents to accelerate its rounds. The main battlefield it would see action on is space, due to the lack of an atmosphere, conventional firearms wouldn't work up there. Despite its design, the weapon doesn't offer much compared to your average assault rifle, the 6x24mm gauss projectiles have similar ballistics to .277 Fury, making it very unpopular among USRF soldiers due to how expensive it is to maintain without having a good trade of.
NOTE: The "405" Barrel and Eyescope is restricted
SUMMER RAIN 2024 - FLASH PASS [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Chicxulub
ATTACHMENTS: "Solar Flare" Gauss Conversion, "Solstace" Barrel, Raíz Adjusting Stock
CALIBER: 12mm Ferromagnetic Slug
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
A conversion of the standard Chicxulub rifle, the "Solar Flare" utilizes a heavily modified pattern of receiver alongside specialized ammunition and a handful of barrel types in order to act as an anti-armor gauss rifle. While not particularly more powerful than contemporary gauss rifles, it remains in active usage across the wasteland as a result of continued distribution by parties similar to those that produce the "Shooting Star" series of lever-action gauss rifles.
BASE TOOL: Meridian
ATTACHMENTS: Meridian Iron Sights, Meridian Gel Stabilizer
CALIBER: EBC Gel Compound 83 "Blue Raspberry"
[PL 1]
(Restricted to: EWS)
A futuristic looking assault rifle, the Meridian was designed around its ammunition, the EBC Gel also known as Compound 83. Some say the rifle is ugly, others say it's got a charm, however what can be agreed on is the rifle being very deadly, being able to disfigure and rip apart anything organic in nature. The USRF uses it in very limited numbers due to two factors, one being the expensive ammunition compared to standard bullets and the second one is that it lacks a lot on the armor piercing department, meaning that well armored enemies are hard to take out without well aimed shots and the rifle being fairly inefficient against droids.
BASE TOOL: FCA-64
ATTACHMENTS: EBC Prototype Barrel "La Cerise", EBC Prototype Stock, Prototype Receiver, EBC Prototype Cherry Grip, EBC Prototype Barrel Cover, 30 Rd 5.56
CALIBER: EBC "Cherry" .223-CEPI
[PL 1]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
Also known as the "Cherry FCA", the EBC variant of the FCA is an attempt made by the Pacific Union in revisiting the concept of the Explosive Ballistic Gel. It used the Russian FCA-64 as basis for their project, while successful, it is not as powerful as the Meridian, but it holds a larger magazine capacity and not as cumbersome as the latter. The weapon is rare in the USRF's arsenal due to a shortage of spare parts and specific components, with most of said items being sold off in local markets.
NOTE: 40+ ROUND MAGAZINES ARE RESTRICTED.
SUMMER RAIN 2024 - FLASH PASS [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Paradigm
ATTACHMENTS: Paradigm Stock, "FROSTBITE" Hologram Sight, EBC "Peppermint" Production Tank
CALIBER: Endothermic Ballistic Compound (EnBC) "Peppermint"
[PL 1]
(Restricted to: EWS)
The Paradigm is a specialized prototype platform designed for usage by the United States Space Force in incredibly cold environments - such as the vacuum of space. Unlike most EBC weaponry, where the gel compound is exothermic, the Paradigm's "Peppermint" EnBC is endothermic, absorbing heat and creating supercooled fragmentation inside wounds on impact, alongside cold burns. Though the project has long since been abandoned, the proximity of the Space Elevator and associated production facilities has resulted in a handful of models falling into the USRF's hands.
BASE TOOL: Vostok
ATTACHMENTS: Vostok Magazine TS3, Vostok Standard Laser, Vostok Standard Flashlight, Vostok Variable Scope x24, Vostok Rail Suppressor
CALIBER: 32-386 SPLITTER
[PL 5]
(Restricted to: Railgunner)
A Russian-produced railgun marketed pre-Flash to security forces and military groups alike. Due to a rare handful of these weapons being present in stockpiles post-Flash, a small number are still in active usage by USRF Railgunners.
BASE TOOL: SWR-5
ATTACHMENTS: R-VIS Prototype Gamma, Olive Drab Furniture, Popup Ammo, Milspec Barrel, Milspec Battery, Hardcase, Rail Compensator, 4Rd, 32-386 SPLITTER, Polymer Handguard
CALIBER: 32-386 SPLITTER
[PL 5]
(Restricted to: Railgunner)
Initially produced in 2058 as a joint venture between the United States Government and RPC FORT, the SWR-5 also known as the Tskylon was the west's attempt at reproducing the Russian VOSTOK and VOSHKOD railgun platforms with a simpler and more modular platform in mind. The Tskylon went on to be one of the most produced and recognized railguns in the world thanks to cross-compatibility between American and Russian railguns. Thanks to its widespread usage, a handful of them survived the flash and can be seen in hands of USRF Railgunners, being more abundant than its Russian counterpart.
IN-GAME LEVEL 750
BASE TOOL: MARAUDER
ATTACHMENTS: MARAUDER Active Barrel, MARADUER Factory Capacitors, MARAUDER Factory Receiver
CALIBER: Plasma Toroid Railgun
[PL 3]
(Restricted to: EWS)
The Marauder is the result of an ambitions American late-war project to weaponize plasma, using the same principle as a railgun to accelerate a toroid of plasma, the weapon is known for its efficiency against droids due to a secondary EMP-like effect from its projectile. A few survived the Flash intact, while some others were jury rigged in order to work, a limited number can be seen in the hands of the USRF, mainly being used against droids.
STREAM DONOR ITEM: TIER III
BASE TOOL: ALVMS
ATTACHMENTS: ALVMS Foregrip Handle, AVMS Stock - GRAY, "ATLATL" PANOPTICON Scope - GRAY, ALVMS Barrel Radiator - GRAY
CALIBER: Plasma Toroid Railgun
[PL 3]
(Restricted to: EWS)
A weapon of unknown origin. Nobody knows who really made and where it came from - with some even claiming it to be of alien origin, as all of the documentation present is in an unknown language dubbed "Neonahuatl". The Tlahuzcalpantecuhtli can be seen in the hands of a few USRF soldiers due to the effort of specialists attempting to "reverse engineer" the weapon, so as to fully understand and comprehend how it works and what they can learn from it. The ALVMS's projectiles tend to lose its power at longer ranges, the projectiles either evaporating or losing its composure making it unsuitable for long range engagements.
Note: Due to its complicated nature, ALVMS operators must use the rifle at the power equivalent to the standard 6.8 NEU cartridge.
IN-GAME LEVEL 750
BASE TOOL: Firespitter
ATTACHMENTS: Firespitter
CALIBER: Napalm-B Pressure Tanks / Gasoline
[PL SPEC]
(Restricted to: Flamethrower Operator)
A makeshift solution to a problem many people across the wasteland face, the Firespitter is a heavy, jury-rigged flamethrower that draws on modern ingenuity and engineering to output a terrifying wave of flame. Capable of running on a variety of fuels, both makeshift and genuine, the Firespitter functions similarly to the Hellfire, as it is fueled by individually loaded pressure tanks rather than being linked to a vulnerable, dedicated fuel backpack. This means that the weapon's overall output per-tank is limited, but a whole five seconds of downstream flame are certainly enough to do just about any job a Flamethrower Operator is assigned to. Notably however, the weapon is considerably heavier than the Hellfire platform, requiring more restrictive ergonomics and preventing more pinpoint usage.
HALLOWEEN 2023: PYROMANCER'S CHALLENGE [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: Hellfire Flamethrower
ATTACHMENTS: Heat Shield, Hellfire Flamethrower Ignition
CALIBER: Napalm-B Pressure Tanks
[PL SPEC]
(Restricted to: Flamethrower Operator)
A compact flamethrower that uses small fuel canisters as a magazine of sorts instead of relying on a hose connected to a soldier's fuel tank, reducing the risk of the operator having a catastrophic tank detonation if they were to be hit in the fuel tank. The Hellfire is utilized by USRF Flamethrower Operators, mostly seeing use against bunkers, pillboxes, trenches and other fortified positions, capable of either burning the enemy within or suffocating them through the fire's consumption of oxygen. The only drawback present is that the soldier must swap fuel tanks regularly, as the lack of a back-mounted system means that the Hellfire is only capable of short bursts.
CHRISTMAS 2024: LARGE BOX ALPHA [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: R.I 9 "Javelin"
ATTACHMENTS: Makeshift Gauss - Militia '7' Stock White, XM Furniture White, 'Javelin' Gauss Rifle (Pristine), Zelus ACOG White
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
A gauss conversion of the R.I 9 "Grim", being most known for being able to fire the .277 Fury projectile at a way flatter trajectory, however this conversion sacrifices the ability to fire the gun in full automatic. It is often seen in the hands of marksmen as it often overheats with prolonged use. The E in its designation stands for electromagnetic
CHRISTMAS 2024: LARGE BOX ALPHA [UNATTAINABLE]
BASE TOOL: R.I 10 "Militia's Favour"
ATTACHMENTS: Zelus ACOG White, Militia '9' Stock+ White, [Grim] Furniture
CALIBER: 6.8x51mm (.277 Fury)
[PL 3]
(Requirement: Advanced Weapons Training)
A full conversion of the R.I 9 "Grim" to a true gauss rifle, being more compact and lighter than the "Javelin" variant due to its advanced electronics, but it is noticeable less accurate than the latter as it uses less electricity per round. The Militia's Favour is considerably more rare in the Union's arsenals for unknown reasons, some say that only its original manufacturers are able to make them while others say that Roginsky didn't want to spend its most expensive chips and other electronics on a firearm, reserving them for droid production.
