HISTORY
The MBAS helmet is an aramid-fiber helmet succeeding the IBAK system. It has largely been considered a massive improvement from the glaring issues of the previous armor systems, coming complete with a four-point retention strap system that provides relief to the wearer over longer periods of time, a reduced mass of 3.0 lbs by changing the material composition, and featuring extra cushioning on the inside as well as the option to adjust the helmet to the wearer's approximate head shape. Like its predecessor, it is great at protecting against impact shock, shrapnel and small arms fire.

HISTORY
A helmet most commonly seen worn by local police forces throughout the Union, local Gendarmerie colors have been replaced with a federal brown and tan for the frontier. The helmet is a reproduction of a pre flash police helmet design that's capable of withstanding some low caliber rounds and blunt force trauma while also being easy to produce. Due to major production constraints caused by the Union War production lines have been shifted in order to produce more MBAS helmets for the USRF, still though there are countless thousands of these helmets in circulation throughout the CSB.
