'h' in the beginning of a word is often not pronounced in our local dialect (Diesters). 'Een hond'  (a dog) is 'nen ont'. Inhabitants of Diest often pronounce 'r' as 'l' at the end of a word. So 'een hamer' (a hammer) is 'nen aomel'.
