John 10:30 I And My Father Are ONE!

And We Shall be ONE with the Father as Well!

***What Does John 10:30 TRULY mean?

Here is John 10:30 from the KJV. “I and my Father are one.”

John 10:30 does NOT prove that Jesus is one and the self-same being as the Father.

Nor does John 10:30 prove that Jesus is one and the self-same God as Almighty God Himself.

All that being ONE with the Father proves is that Jesus is one in AGREEMENT with Almighty God the Father.

For you see, Jesus teaches us in John 17:6-26, more particularly verse 22, that we who believe in Jesus as our Lord and Savior will ALSO be made ONE with the Father.

And when we are made ONE with the Father, that does not make us to become one and the self-same being as the Father.

John 10:30 Does NOT PROVE that Jesus is Almighty God Himself!

Does John 10:30, where Jesus says that he and Almighty God the Father are ONE, teach us that Jesus is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God in the FLESH?

You see, the doctrine of the Trinity, the doctrine of the Deity of Jesus, and the Oneness Pentecostal doctrine dogmatically demand Christians to believe that Jesus and the Father are one and the self-same God in order to be saved?

First of all, to me, if that is what Jesus truly MEANT when he said, I and my Father are one, then that would mean Jesus was saying that he is the Father Himself.

So no! Jesus did not intend his words to be that he was ONE and the SELF-SAME BEING as the ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF.

Again, to me, this would mean that Jesus was saying that he himself is the FATHER.

And if Jesus is the Father Himself in the flesh, then that would CONTRADICT what the doctrine of the Trinity teaches where Jesus is NOT the Father and the Father is NOT the SON.

But if John 10:30 is intended to mean by the Holy Spirit that Jesus is the Father, then that would support the Oneness Pentecostal doctrine, which teaches that Jesus is the Father Himself as another mode of existing as the Father.

The reason that I say that whenever anyone says that Jesus is God, in that, they are MEANING that Jesus is the ONE TRUE and ONLY God who is the ALMIGHTY, then they are in TRUTH saying that Jesus is the FATHER.

For you see, the word of TRUTH always clearly IDENTIFIES the Father as the ONE GOD. Thus, when Trinitarian Christians demand that Jesus is the ONE God, then they are actually saying that Jesus is the Father Himself.

Please read 1 Corinthians 8:6.

“But to us (Referring to us as being Christians. Or to us who are the Apostles and eyewitnesses of Jesus) there is but ONE God, the Father, (CLEARLY, the Apostle Paul is IDENTIFYING the Father ALONE as being the ONE God, whom the early First-Century Christians taught as being the ONE and ONLY TRUE God.

How do we know this to be the truth? Because the Bible itself speaks of only ONE being in ONE person who is the ALMIGHTY, the MOST-HIGH God above all other gods.

And that includes being God OVER His SON Jesus. So, according to the Bible itself, it should be perfectly clear to ALL Christians that there is but ONE God who is the God and FATHER) of whom are all things, and we in Him; and ONE Lord Jesus Christ, (Or more correctly understood, and ALSO to us there is one Lord, Jesus the Christ.

In other words, this second claus is clearly identifying our ONE LORD as being our Lord, Jesus the Christ.

The word Christ means the Messiah and the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God the Father, whom God made both Lord, Jesus Christ, after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36.

And because of sacrifice made by Jesus) by whom are all things, and we by him.”

The Trinitarian Christians argue that there three separate persons in one God.

So then, according to the verse we just read, the one God is the Father.

Thus, Trinitarians Christians are actually saying that there are three separate persons in the FATHER?

But yet the Christians who teach the doctrine of theTrinity use this verse of Scripture and words of Jesus saying, “I and my Father are ONE” to try to prove that Almighty God is a “TRINITY” Godhead made up of three separate persons in the ONE God.

And Pentecostal Oneness Christians argue that Jesus self[same being as the Father.

In other words, they argue that Almighty God Himself manifested Himself to become flesh in John 1:14.

And the Trinitarian Christians argue that an always existing God the Son became flesh in John 1;14.

What I want my readers to see and understand is that John 10:30 and 1 Corinthians 8:6 contradict each other, when they are wrongly “interpreted” to mean that they are both saying that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh.

Let me explain what I mean. To use John 10:30 to say that Jesus in Almighty God Himself in the flesh is actually saying that Jesus is the Father Himself.

And for Trinitarians to say that Jesus is the Father, then they contradict their own doctrine of the Trinity that plainly states that Jesus is not the Father.

And the Bible itself clearly teaches us that Jesus is not the Father.

Yes, I understand that Trinitarian Christians would never “knowingly” say that Jesus is the Father, but when they use John 10:30 to try to prove that Jesus is Almighty God Himself in the flesh, then they are actually saying that Jesus is the Father.

For you see, in that verse, Jesus said, I and my FATHER are one and not I and Almighty God are one.

Let me say that again, so it sinks in, the verse in John 10:30, does NOT say Almighty God and I are one, but rather, it says “I and my FATHER are ONE”.

Therefore, if a Christian “interprets the word “ONE” to mean one and the self-same entity, then they are saying that Jesus is the Father, whether they realize it or not!

But I assure you that the Greek word translated as “ONE” does NOT mean that Jesus is saying that he is the Father.

Nor did Jesus intend his words to mean that he is Almighty God Himself in the flesh.

For you see, Jesus said “my” Father and you cannot take the pronoun “my” out of that verse of Scripture.

And it you replace the word Father with the word “God”, then Jesus said, I and my God are one.”

No matter how you “slice and dice” John 10:30, it does not mean that Jesus is the SAME God as the Father, because Almighty God the Creator is the God of Jesus.

The TRUTH of the matter is, the word “one” simply means to be in agreement as one in unity of the same purpose.

And if you read the whole matter, in this study, that sound Bible truth will become quite clear to you by COMPARING Scripture with Scripture and reading the CONTEXT.

So then, let us begin this study in God’s word to see what the word of TRUTH teaches us that being ONE with the Father actually and truly means in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

Please read John 10:30 in the context of where it is found.

We will read John 10:17-39, which teaches us that Almighty God was DWELLING in His human SON, Jesus.

And Jesus obeyed what his God and Father told him to do and say.

And that is how they were ONE, in that, they AGREED as ONE.

The Son was manifested BECAUSE of the Devil SINNING, according to 1 John 3:8.

Moreover, the Son was manifested to destroy the works of the Devil.

And, according to Psalm 8:1-6, the very reason that God MADE man and the Son of MAN, was to STILL His enemies.

Thus, if you use the meaning of the Greek word “phaneroō” to appear, then Jesus was manifested or made to appear, as in, made to come into existence, for the purpose to do his God and Father’s WILL.

John 17:1-3 clearly teaches that the Father is the ONLY true God and that Jesus was SENT or COMMISSIONED by the Father.

In other words, God sent His HUMAN Son into the world AFTER God commissioned him by ANOINTING him with the Holy Spirit and power to go about doing the “WILL” of his God and Father to heal all who were oppressed of the Devil, for God was WITH Jesus, by DWELLING in Jesus.

Can you see how all of the verses fit PERFECTLY together when Jesus is the anointed human Son of God sent into the world to destroy the works of the Devil?

With all of this in mind, let us now read the context of John 10:30.

John 10:17-39.

“Therefore, does my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again. (Or the reason that my Father LOVES me is because I do His Will to lay down my life so that He will glorify me with eternal life)

John 10:18. No man takes it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again (Jesus was given this power, or the authority, or the free WILL of his own, to lay down his life, or to NOT lay down his life.

For you see, God gave His Son his OWN WILL to choose freely for himself to either obey his Father and lay down his life, or to disobey his Father’s WILL by not laying down his life to suffer and die on the cross for the sins of the world.

Also, know and understand that Almighty God placed a joy before His Son to endure the cross, according to Hebrews 12:2.

In a nutshell, that joy was conditional on if Jesus became OBEDIENT unto death on the cross, then his God and Father would not only raise His SON back to life, but He would also GIVE His Son eternal life

In other words, John 5:26,27 teaches us that the Son was given life, even as, the Father Himself has life.

And we know that the Almighty God, the Creator, has always had immortal life.

Thus, when we read 2 Peter 1:4, which teaches us that we will be made partakers of the DIVINE NATURE, then we can understand that the divine NATURE means immortality or being made partakers of the divine eternal life.

Also, know and understand that the joy set before the human Son of God to endure the cross, was the promise in the Scriptures that Almighty God would HIGHLY EXALT His firstborn Son to seated on His God and Father’s throne.

Notice that none of the prophecies say that God would send down His Son from heaven to be made lower than the angels, and then the Son would be RESTORED to his rightful place on the throne.

For you see, if that man-made theory of a God the Son being restored to his throne was true, then Almighty God deceived the so-called always existing God the Son by giving prophecy that does not teach us of a Son returning to heaven.

Also, know and understand that the Son of God will only rule for 1000 years and he will rule only over the earth and not the entire universe.

You see, 1 Corinthians 15:20-28 teaches us that the Son will commit the ruling over the earth back into the Father hands.

In other words, the Son of God will rule FOR Yahweh in the NAME of Yahweh for 1000 years.

To say this another way, Jesus will rule ONLY over the earth and not over the entire universe.

And, Jesus will only rule for 1000 years until the Father has put all of the ENEMIES under his feet.

Therefore, the Bible itself does not teach that an always existing God the Son will RETURN to his throne.

That theory contradicts the clear teaching of the Son of God being HIGHLY EXALTED and to RECEIVE glory honor and POWER, after the cross and resurrection.

Now those who teach that Jesus is the ALMIGHTY God Himself in the flesh, they INTERPRET this verse in John 10:17 to mean that Jesus HIMSELF would raise HIMSELF from the dead.

If that Trinitarian INTERPRETATION of John 10:17 is true, then it should be known that ALL of the POWER that Jesus has, was GIVEN to him by HIS God and Father, the ALMIGHTY God.

Some Christians have never been taught that Jesus was anointed TWICE, the first time was at his baptism, and that first anointing was PARTIAL anointing of the Holy Spirit.

For you see, John 5:19 and John 10:14 clearly teach us that the Son could do NOTHING of himself and that it was the Father dwelling in him who was the one doing the works.

The second anointing was after the cross and resurrection when God anointed Jesus to be made Lord above his fellows, according to Hebrews 1:8,9.

So, the true sound Biblical meaning of John 10:17 is that God gave His human Son, Jesus, a commandment or the instruction that he could call a legion of angels to deliver him if he so chose to not lay down his life of his own free will) This commandment have I received OF my Father. (In other words, God gave His Son, Jesus, the freedom to CHOOSE whether or not to OBEY his God and Father’s WILL, or to obey his OWN WILL)

John 10:19. There was a division,therefore, again among the Jews for these sayings.

John 10:20. And many of them said, He has a devil, and is mad; why hear you him? (Here we see that many of the JEWS were FALSELY ACCUSING Jesus of having a DEVIL.

And then in verse 33 below, some of these same JEWS again FALSELY ACCUSE Jesus of making himself to be Almighty God HIMSELF)

John 10:21. Others said, These are not the words of him that has a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind? (Here we see that some of the Jews were starting to believe that Almighty God was indeed WITH this MAN Jesus because of the WORKS of healing that Jesus was doing through or by the power of Almighty God the Father DWELLING in him)

John 10:22. And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

John 10:23. And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon’s porch.

John 10:24. Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long do you make us to doubt? If you are the CHRIST, tell us plainly. (The Greek word that is translated as “Christ” means the Messiah and the anointed of God,

The PROPHECIES speak of a Christ that would be raised up from among the people.

And there is no prophecy that speaks of God becoming a MAN or God sending down a God the Son to become a Man,

Nor is there any prophecy of the Messiah being Almighty God Himself in the flesh.

The Jews who were starting to believe want to know plainly if Jesus is the Christ, the one PROPHESIED to come?

In other words, the Jews asked Jesus, are you the one whom God would ANOINT?)

John 10:25. Jesus answered them, I told you, and you believed not: (Jesus told them at the very beginning of his ministry when he went into the synagogue and read Isaiah saying that Almighty God had ANOINTED him to preach the gospel.

In other words, Jesus answered them, I have already told you plainly that I am the Christ and you did not believe me. Please see Luke 4:1-30) the WORKS that I do in my Father’s NAME, they bear witness of me.

John 10:26. But you believe not, because you are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

John 10:27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

John 10:28. And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:29. My Father, which GAVE them me, is GREATER than ALL; (Including being GREATER than His SON, Jesus, according to the very words of Jesus in John 14:28 saying “the FATHER is GREATER than I”) and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

John 10:30. I and my Father are ONE. (In that, Jesus obeyed his God and Father to do the WORKS that Almighty God the Father SENT or COMMISSIONED His Son to do.

Jesus and the Father are ONE in that they AGREE as ONE working together as one in UNITY for the SAME purpose.

This is how Jesus, as well as we who believe, are in the Father. We, as Christians, seek to do the WILL of God by obeying His word being led by His eternal Spirit who DWELLS in us)

John 10:31. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

John 10:32. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shown you FROM my Father; for which of those works do you stone me?

John 10:33. The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone you not; but for blasphemy; and because that you, being a MAN, make yourself God. (First of all, remember that these same unbelieving Jews just got through falsely accusing Jesus of having a DEVIL.

So, how could any Christian use the words of unbelieving Jews to build a church doctrine upon?

Many of the Jews CLEARLY saw Jesus as being a MAN of God with whom God was with.

And thus, it was only the unbelieving Jews who FALSELY ACCUSED Jesus of making himself God.

And they explained that it was because Jesus said that he was the SON of God by saying that God is his Father.

But Jesus speaks to his DEFENSE in the following verses saying that the very word of Almighty God Himself says the YOU to whom the word of God came are called gods.

The Hebrew word translated as God is Elohim which simply means mighty one or “a” god who has been GIVEN authority over something by the Almighty God who created us.

There is no definite article “THE” before God. Therefore, it must be “interpreted” that the Jews were accusing Jesus of making himself to be THE Almighty God Himself.

Again, remember that some of these same Jews just got through FALSELY ACCUSING Jesus of having a DEVIL. See verse 20 in this very CONTEXT)

John 10:34. Jesus answered them, (Or Jesus DEFENDED himself against this false accusation of making himself to be Almighty God the Father.

Or more precisely, they accused Jesus of making himself “a” god or a mighty one of God) Is it not WRITTEN in your law, I said, YOU are gods? (Or is it not written in the Scriptures that you are ELOHIM which means MIGHTY ONES or gods under Yahweh?

The angels are called Elohim in Psalm 8:5. And Satan is called “the” god of this world in 2 Corinthians 4:3,4.

Thus, the word “God” is a TITLE, and the Almighty Elohim has many Elohim under and subject to Him.

Almighty God the Father is the God OF gods)

John 10:35. If He called them gods, unto whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken; (To me, this verse should be translated as, If He called them gods, AGAINTS whom the word of God came, and the Scripture cannot be broken; (For you see, Jesus is quoting Psalm 82:6 and the context of that verse is speaking about the fallen angels or the fallen gods who shall die like mortal men.

And the word “God” in Psalm 82:8, is a prophecy of Jesus being raised from the dead to become a God to JUDGE the fallen gods)

John 10:36. Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and SENT (Or COMMISSIONED with the Holy Spirit and power before he dispatched me out) into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the SON of God?

John 10:37. If I do not the works of my Father, believe me not.

John 10:38. But if I do, though you believe not me, believe the WORKS: that you may KNOW, and BELIEVE, that the Father is in me, and I in Him. (Or believe the WORKS that you see me do through the ANOINTING of the Holy Spirit and power of God being WITH me by dwelling in me and I remained obedient to Him)

John 10:39. Therefore, they sought again to take him: but he escaped out of their hand,”

In John 10:38, Jesus clearly teaches us that the Father DWELT in him and that Jesus was obeying what the Father told him to do.

And the unbelieving Jews wanted to kill Jesus simply because they did NOT believe that Jesus was COMMISSIONED by God.

The unbelieving Jews falsely accused Jesus of having a DEVIL to explain WHY Jesus could do mighty works of healing.

And when that did not convince the believing Jews who followed Jesus, then the unbelieving Jews accused Jesus of self-exalting himself to be an Elohim.

So then, what have we learned from the CONTEXT of John 10:30?

Again, we have learned that Jesus was FALSELY ACCUSED of having a DEVIL as well as Jesus was FALSELY ACCUSED of self-exalting and making HIMSELF to be “A” god as opposed to making himself to be THE Almighty God.

For you see, NO Jew would ever believe that a MAN is THE Almighty God Himself.

And many Jews did indeed believe that Jesus was the Christ, the one prophesied to be anointed by God with power.

Also, the Jews did understand about Elohim or gods under and subject to THE Almighty God.

But again, it was the unbelieving Jews who falsely accused Jesus of self-exalting himself to be a God under and subject to his God.

And we also learned that in BOTH of these FALSE ACCUSATIONS that Jesus DEFENDED himself saying that he did NOT have a devil and that he was NOT making himself to be God, a god, or even EQUAL with Almighty God, his God and Father.

For you see, why would Jesus say that the Father is GREATER than ALL, if if he intended his words in John 10:30, “I and my FATHER are ONE” is intended to mean that he is ONE and the self-same being as the FATHER.

Again, verse 30 does NOT say “I and Almighty God are ONE”.

But rather, it says “I and my FATHER are ONE”.

Here are some reasons why both Trinitarian AND Pentecostal Oneness Christians are wrong in trying to force Jesus to be Almighty God Himself in the flesh.

Reason number one.

Jesus himself said that the Father is GREATER than ALL.

And we KNOW that the word “ALL” includes Jesus as well.

In other words, Jesus was saying that the Father is GREATER than the SON. because in John 14:28, Jesus spells this truth out for us in CLEAR, PLAIN, and SIMPLE words that do NOT need any interpretation whatsoever to clearly understand.

John 14:28.

“You have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If you loved me, you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is GREATER than I.”

So CLEARLY, Jesus never considered himself to be EQUAL with his God and Father, who is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY SOVEREIGN WISE and LIVING God.

You see, the Father ALONE has always possessed IMMORTALITY in himself without being GIVEN immortality as we are clearly taught in 1 Timothy 6:14-16.

Please read 1 Timothy 6:14-16.

“That you KEEP THIS commandment (Or that you HOLD FAST to this principle or THIS TEACHING) without spot, UNREBUKABLE, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1 Timothy 6:15. Which in his times (Speaking of the first and second comings of Jesus) he shall show, (Or Jesus shall show us the FATHER) WHO is the blessed and ONLY Potentate,(The word Potentate means Sovereign or the one who is OVER ALL.

And Jesus came to show us the FATHER to be the ONLY TRUE God, according to John 17:1-3.

So, the pronoun “WHO” in verse 15, which Jesus shows us, is Almighty God the FATHER.

Thus, the one who is the ONLY ALMIGHTY SOVEREIGN God, who is GREATER than ALL. is the Father, who is) the King of kings, and Lord of lords;

1 Timothy 6:16. Who ONLY has IMMORTALITY, (Speaking of who ONLY has always possessed immortality within Himself being the self-existing one never BEGOTTEN, never created, but rather, the one being in one person who has ALWAYS existed as the ETERNAL SPIRIT who is INVISIBLE) dwelling in the light which NO man can approach unto; whom NO man has SEEN, NOR CAN SEE: (But yet men HAVE SEEN Jesus, who is the SON of Almighty God the Father.

And who became the EXPRESS IMAGE of his God and Father after the cross being GLORIFIED and GIVEN eternal life BY the FATHER) to whom be honor and power everlasting. Amen.”

Now some may try to argue that since Jesus is called the King of kings, and the Lord of lords, then Jesus must be the WHO that he came to show.

While, it is true that Jesus is called the King of kings and the Lord of lords, it is also true that the invisible God is the Eternal King.

So, please know and understand that it was the ETERNAL KING who MADE His SON Jesus both Lord and Christ after the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:26.

And, we must also know and understand that God highly exalted His FIRSTBORN Son, the firstborn among many BRETHREN, to be MADE HIGHER than the kings of the earth, according to the PROPHECY in Psalm 89:27.

For a deeper understanding that Almighty God the Father HIGHLY EXALTED His SON Jesus to BECOME the “A” King of kings and a Lord of lords, please read the study Revelation 17:20 Who is the King of Kings?

Plain and simple, Jesus is NOT the ETERNAL King who is the Father.

Number one, it makes no sense for the invisible eternal King to become flesh and then SET Himself on His own throne and call Himself His King whom He has set on His holy hill

Number two, the Father is the God and Father of Jesus. So again, it makes no sense for one true and only ALMIGHTY KING over Himself.

So then, seeing that the word “ONE” in John 10:30 does NOT mean that Jesus was saying that he and the Father were ONE and the SAME BEING, then WHAT did Jesus mean by the word “ONE”?

Let us read that verse again.

John 10:30.

“I and my FATHER are ONE.”

What does the word “ONE” truly mean in the LIGHT of the WHOLE word of Almighty God, because all Trinitarian Christians know beyond any shadow of a doubt that Jesus is NOT the FATHER.

Again, it does NOT say I and my God are ONE, but rather, it says I and my FATHER are ONE.

Quite simply, the Greek word that is TRANSLATED into English as the word “ONE” means to be UNITED as ONE and to AGREE as ONE.

This same Greek word that is used in John 10:30 is also used in the following verses of Scripture where we can clearly see the meaning of UNITY of TWO separate persons AGREEING as ONE and being UNITED as ONE, but yet, remaining as TWO distinct individual separate persons.

#1. Matthew 19:3-9.

“The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

Matthew 19:4. And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read , that he which made them at the beginning made them MALE and FEMALE, (Just as a side journey, MARRIAGE, as instituted by ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF, the CREATOR of ALL, clearly and plainly states in His word of TRUTH, the Holy Bible, that MARRIAGE is clearly defined as ONE MAN becoming UNITED together with ONE FEMALE.

Almighty God never intended a man to marry another man nor a woman to marry another woman.

The TRUTH of the matter is that it is SIN for a man to have sex with another man and a woman to have sex with another woman.

Matthew 19:5. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain (Or the TWO) shall be ONE flesh? (In that, they become UNITED in marriage to live together as ONE couple or family and NOT that they LITERALLY become ONE and the self-same PERSON.

Now, when a husband and wife come together to have a baby then the two separate persons literally produce ONE flesh or multiple babies in case of twins or triplets.

But I myself do not see that this is what Jesus is speaking of in the CONTEXT of this passage of Scripture which deals with MARRIAGE and DIVORCE.

Jesus is speaking of being in AGREEMENT together as one in unity working together toward the same goal)

Matthew 19:6. Wherefore they are NO more two, but ONE FLESH. (Or in other words, the husband and wife are NO more TWO who are SINGLE, as in, being NOT UNITED together in MARRIAGE.

But now, the TWO have become UNITED as ONE person coming together in AGREEMENT with his or her spouse for the same purpose and goal.

This is what the Greek word “HEIS or HEN” means as being ONE) What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

Matthew 19:7. They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

Matthew 19:8. He said unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: BUT from the beginning it was NOT so.

Matthew 19:9. And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his WIFE, except it be for fornication,(Where the WIFE commits adultery and the husband has always been FAITHFUL NOT to commit adultery then, according to the Law of Moses, the MAN ONLY is allowed to put away or divorce his unfaithful adulterous wife and remarry.

But the wife must remain single and never have sex with anyone, because she will be committing adultery, as well as, also causing those whom she is having sex with to commit adultery.

This is my own personal understanding of what this passage of Scripture means to me.

Now, the reverse of this is equally as true.

In other words, if the WIFE is the one who has remained FAITHFUL and the HUSBAND is the one who has committed adultery, then the wife is free to divorce her husband and remarry.

But the man must remain single and never have sex again lest he commit adultery and cause the woman he marries to commit adultery as well.

Again, this is what I MYSELF understand this passage of Scripture to mean.

Therefore, for me, it would be a SIN if let’s say, my wife died and I knowingly and willingly married another woman whom I KNEW was divorced OTHER than the reason of her husband cheating on HER while she herself remained faithful not to ever commit adultery.

Again, this is my OWN PERSONAL opinion. My point right now is that becoming ONE flesh does not mean becoming the self same being.

For you see, how come one being separate to become two beings once they have become ONE if so be that the word “ONE” means one and the SAME?) and shall marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries HER which is put away does commit adultery.”

This same Greek word “HEIS or HEN” that is used in John 10:30 where Jesus said.

John 10:30 with the Greek word added.

“I and my Father are ONE (HEIS or HEN).”

The same Greek word translated as “one” is also used by Jesus in John 17:22-24, when Jesus was praying to his God and Father for us, as Christians, to be ONE WITH the FATHER in the very SAME WAY that Jesus and the Father are ONE.

In other words, if Jesus truly meant that he was ONE and the self-same BEING as ALMIGHTY God the Father, then WE as Christians shall ALSO become ONE and the self-same BEING as ALMIGHTY God the Father.

But as we have already seen from Matthew 19:3-9, this Greek word “HEIS or HEN” means to be UNITED and ONE where TWO come together in UNITY to AGREE as ONE.

#2. John 17:1-24.

“These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify Your SON, that Your SON also may glorify You: (Here we see Jesus, the SON OF Almighty God the Father, praying to his God and Father.

So clearly, they are TWO separate persons being Almighty God the FATHER and His SON Jesus where Jesus the SON is NOT the Father and Almighty God the FATHER is NOT His SON Jesus)

John 17:2. As YOU have GIVEN him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as You have given him. (In other words, Almighty God the Father GAVE to His human SON the POWER to raise the dead.

And the God of Jesus also give His human Son eternal life because Jesus was the Son of MAN, according to John 5:26,27.

God desires and even commands us to HONOR the SON EVEN AS or in the SAME WAY that we HONOR the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER.

Keep in mind that it was AFTER the cross that the God OF Jesus highly exalted him and GAVE Jesus eternal life.

It was AFTER the cross that ALL power and authority, including judgment, was GIVEN to the now glorified Son of man, Jesus.

Plain and simple, all that Jesus has was GIVEN to him by his God and Father, who ALONE is the ONLY true God, according to the next verse of Scripture)

John 17:3. And THIS IS life eternal, THAT they might KNOW YOU the only true God, (Jesus came to SHOW us the FATHER to be the ONLY POTENTATE who ONLY has always possessed IMMORTALITY within Himself to be the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God.

Also, the Greek word translated as “true” should be translated as TRUTHFUL.

You see, Jesus also manifestly declared that Satan is a LIAR and the father of lies/

Thus, Jesus is showing us the the Father is the only TRUTHFUL God and Satan is the LYING God.

Therefore, if we want to receive eternal life in the world to come, they we are to know the Father and the only TRUTHFUL God) AND Jesus Christ, whom YOU HAVE SENT. (Or and that they also know Jesus ANOINTED who YOU have COMMISSIONED.

Jesus never once claimed to be the ALMIGHTY God Himself in the flesh.

That is a man-made THEORY that contradicts many verses in the Bible.

Jesus never ever made himself equal to his God and Father.

Jesus always gave all the glory for who he was and what he had to his God and Father.

And Jesus taught us that it is his Father’s WILL that we must believe in the SON of God in order to have the Father.

In other words, we MUST believe in BOTH in order to receive eternal life in the world to come.

Therefore, Jesus is NOT one as the self-same being with the Father, in that, Jesus is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God Himself, who ALONE is the Father.

But rather, Jesus is one in AGREEMENT and in UNITY with his God and Father working together with the Father toward the same goal)

John 17:4. I have glorified You on the earth: I have finished the work which You gave me to do.

John 17:5. And now, O Father, glorify you me WITH your own self with the glory which I had with You before the world was. (Now some Christians “INTERPRET” this verse to dogmatically mean that Jesus pre-existed with Almighty God for all eternity never having a beginning.

But, to mr, the truth of the matter is that Jesus read the word of God, and the Holy Spirit led and guided Jesus to the truth that the Scriptures spoke of him as being the CHRIST, who was PROPHESIED to come.

And Jesus saw the end from the BEGINNING and how he was brought up as one being with the Father before the restoring of the world was in the mind and plan of God.

In other words, Jesus saw the glory that his God and Father desired to GIVE to His Son for all eternity even before God ever created the first humans, Adam and Eve.

God devised a plan to have His human Son slain as a sacrificial lamb from the foundation of the world.

It may surprise you to learn that the Greek word translated as “foundation” means to sit down together to settle something.

You see, God made the worlds yet to come FOR the SAKE of His SON to INHERIT.

And HOW God made the worlds was through or by speaking forth His own thoughts to form the IMAGE of what God was thinking to be formed.

Thus, the human Son of God, the Son of MAN, Jesus, BECAME the EXPRESSED IMAGE of what God was desiring to bring to pass, AFTER the cross and resurrection.

That is to say, Jesus came OUT FROM Almighty God’s THOUGHTS to one day bring forth His human Son FIRST.

And then, God’s human Son would be GIVEN to die on the cross.

And then, God’s human Son would be glorified to become the express image of God to be GIVEN the divine nature of immortality to be having in himself even as the Father has always possessed immortality in Himself.

And thus, the GLORY of the only begotten SON that the disciples, was the glory of the GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the resurrection.

And that is WHEN Jesus became the FIRSTBORN of every creature to be made in the IMAGE of the invisible God.

John 17:6. I have manifested Your name unto the men which YOU GAVE me out of the world: YOURS they were, and you GAVE them me; and they have kept your word.

John 17:7. Now they have known that all things whatsoever YOU have GIVEN me are of YOU. (If you read the word of God carefully and prayerfully, you will clearly see that everything that Jesus is or has was GIVEN to him by his God and Father, the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God.

So, all of the GLORY goes to the FATHER, who has created all His new creatures of righteousness for HIS PLEASURE.

And new creature that pleased Almighty God to create was to BEGET Himself His FIRSTBORN Son from the dead, the firstborn among many brethren in His own image.

In other words, God’s desire was not just to beget one Son, but many more sons and daughters THROUGH his ONLY UNIQUELY BEGOTTEN human SON, Jesus, who God ANOINTED or COMMISSIONED to become a King, a Lord, and a God.

And Almighty God LOVES us who believe with the SAME LOVE that he loves His SON, Jesus.

Also, God and Jesus desire all of us who believe to become ONE with the Father, EVEN as Jesus is ONE with Almighty God the Father)

John 17:8. For I have given unto them the words which you GAVE me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came OUT FROM YOU, and they have believed that You did send me. (So clearly, we all agree that Jesus came OUT FROM the very BEING of Almighty God.

And I believe this means that it was the very self-same spoken WORD of that CAME OUT from Almighty God.

Thus, it was the spoken word of PROPHECY that God watched over and performed to bring to pass that was MADE or BECAME a HUMAN BEING.

And then, at the baptism of Jesus, a portion of the Spirit of Almighty God himself began to DWELL in the human Son of God.

God did this to empower His SON Jesus to do the works that He SENT His SON to do AFTER His SON was BORN into the world as the Son of MAN.

In other words, the SON did NOT actually come into existence as the SON OF Almighty God UNTIL the SON was created in the womb of a woman, according to the prophecy in Jeremiah 31:22.

John 17:9. I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which YOU have GIVEN me; for they are yours.

John 17:10. And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorified in them. (Showing that the Father and His SON Jesus are ONE in UNITY and in AGREEMENT.

Again, the REASON for why God made man and the Son of MAN was because of His ENEMIES.

God desires a new God of righteousness who will not be like Lucifer who corrupted himself)

John 17:11. And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, KEEP through your own name those whom you have GIVEN me, that (Or so that) THEY may be ONE, AS WE ARE ONE. (So then, according to the Trinitarian meaning of “ONE”, Jesus is praying that we who believe become ONE and the self-being as ALMIGHTY God the Father.

And, according tp the Biblical Unitarian meaning of “ONE”, Jesus is praying that we who believe to be one in agreement and unity with the Father and His now Glorified human Son to do all of the WILL of God.

Thus, Jesus prayed that we may be found FAITHFUL so that Almighty God the Father will GIVE us IMMORTALITY, even as, the Father GAVE His SON Jesus the RIGHT to partake of the tree of life.

For you see, God highly exalted SON Jesus because he overcame Satan and became obedient unto death on the cross, according to Philippians 2:6-11)

John 17:12. While I was with them in the world, I kept them in YOUR NAME: those that YOU GAVE me I have kept, and none of them is lost,

but the son of perdition; that the Scripture might be fulfilled.

John 17:13. And now come I to You; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

John 17:14. I have given them YOUR word; and the world has hated them, because THEY are NOT OF the world, EVEN AS I am NOT of the world. (This simply means that we are called to live without sin just as Jesus lived without sin.

And it also proves that Jesus not being of this world does NOT mean that a pre-existing Son of God was sent down from heaven into this world.

For you see, we were NOT sent down from heaven as pre-existing spirit children to be born into this world as the Mormans wrong teach.

The verse says EVEN as, which means in the same way that Jesus was not of this world, we also are not of this world.

And Jesus REPEATS these same words again in verse 16)

John 17:15. I pray not that You should take them out of the world, but that You should keep them from the evil.

John 17:16. THEY are NOT OF of the world, EVEN AS I am NOT OF the world. (But yet, some Christians interpret that a so-called God the Son came down FROM HEAVEN to become flesh.

And thus, to Trnitarian Christians, Jesus was not of this world means that he pre-existed his Virgin birth up in heaven as God the Son, a second person of a Godhead Trinity God.

But here in verses 14 and 16, we can clearly see that we who are BORN of God are not of this world in the SAME WAY that Jesus was not of this world.

Now, I myself do not ever recall ever pre-existing with God in heaven from the beginning like some Christians dogmatically demand that Jesus did simply because Jesus said of himself that he was not of this world.

There are other ways to not be of this world. Not living in sin is being not of this world.

Being born of God to become a new creature in Jesus is bing from ABOVE, whereas, the unsaved are from BELOW)

John 17:17. Sanctify them through your truth: your word is truth.

John 17:18. As You have SENT me into the world, EVEN so, have I also SENT them INTO the world. (Now, Jesus did NOT send us down FROM HEAVEN INTO the world. But rather, Jesus sent us OUT into the world in the same way the God sent His Son into the world.

In other words, God anointed His human Son with His Holy Spirit and power before God SENT His Son into the world.

But yet, when Trinitarian Christians read where God SENT His SON INTO the world, then they read their Trinitarian understanding into those verses to INTERPRET the phrase “INTO the world” to dogmatically mean that God sent His Son FROM heaven DOWN to the earth INTO the world.

And thus, to THEM, that proves that Jesus was co-eternal with Almighty God and never had a beginning.

For you see, if the Son of God had a BEGINNING, then it is impossible for the Son of God to be Almighty God Himself in the flesh, as they CLAIM.

In other words, if the Son of God did not always pre-exist as God’s Son having no beginning, then the doctrine of the Trinity falls apart as a false doctrine.

If you believe in the doctrine of the Trinity, then I implore you to read the three-part study O-14. WHEN Did Jesus BECOME God’s ETERNAL Son?)

John 17:19. And for their sake I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

John 17:20. Neither pray I for these ALONE, but for them ALSO which shall believe on me through their word;

John 17:21. That they ALL (Speaking of EVERY BELIEVER in Jesus Christ) may be ONE; AS YOU, Father, ARE IN ME, and I IN You, that THEY ALSO may be ONE IN us: that (Or so that) the world may believe that you have SENT me. (Or that the world may know that You ANOINTED or COMMISSIONED me.

Again, the SAME Greek word “HEIS or HEN” is used here as it is in John 10:30 where Jesus said “I and my Father ARE ONE.”

So, the INTENDED meaning of Jesus being ONE with the Father in John 10:30 is that Jesus was in the Father and the Father was in him by DWELLING in Jesus the SAME as the Holy Spirit DWELLS in us who believe)

John 17:22. And the glory which You GAVE me, I have given them; (Or more precisely, the glory which You promised me in Your word, I have also promised to give them the same eternal life that You GAVE to me after overcoming the world) THAT (Or so that or in order that) THEY (Speaking of EVERY BELIEVER in Jesus Christ) may be ONE (HEIS or HEN), EVEN AS WE ARE ONE: (So then, Jesus HIMSELF is praying that WE as Christians to be ONE with Almighty God the Father and his SON Jesus in the exact same way that Jesus and the Father ARE ONE right now.

So then, IF you INTERPRET John 10:30 to dogmatically mean without fail the Jesus HIMSELF is the ONE TRUE and ONLY ALMIGHTY God the FATHER, then you must ALSO INTERPRET John 17:1-24 in the exact same way, which would then make US TO BE THE ALMIGHTY God the Father as well.

But I MYSELF do NOT interpret either passage of Scripture as ONE meaning being ONE and the SAME being, but rather than being ONE means that we are UNITED as ONE where TWO or more come together to be ONE in AGREEMENT.

This is what the Greek word in the original text means, to AGREE as ONE UNITED together for the same purpose)

John 17:23. I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in ONE; (We ALL are made to be ONE by walking in LOVE and in AGREEMENT being UNITED as ONE, but NOT being ONE and the SAME BEING.

We are all made to be a PART of the SAME body of Christ and we have ALL been GIVEN the SAME AUTHORITY in the NAME of Jesus, but we are NOT all ONE and the SAME BEING) and that the world may know that you have SENT me, and have loved them, (Speaking of Almighty God LOVING US as believers) AS you have loved me.

John 17:24. Father, I will that they also, whom YOU have GIVEN me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which You have GIVEN me: for you loved me BEFORE the foundation of the world.”

Again, Trinitarian Christians interpret verse 24 to mean that Jesus pre-existed as a God the SON, and Jehovahs Witnesses say a spirit Son of Almighty God who was by his Father’s side.

And to THEM it was the Son of God who created the the entire universe, the world, and all things.

But, to me, the TRUTH of the matter is that Jesus only existed in the mind, plan, and the desires of Almighty God BEFORE Almighty God created Adam around 6,000 years ago.

I myself believe that God Himself created the entire universe in the eternity past, billions of years ago.

And all was perfect for billions of years, sometime before around 12,000 to 15,000 years ago, Lucifer and one third of the angels wage a war against the other side of heaven throughout the universe.

A literal “Star Wars” so to speak. And in God’s wrath to overthrow that rebellion of the fallen gods, the earth became void and without form.

Thus, the account in Genesis 1:3-28, God RECREATED or RESTORED the world to once again be habitable.

In other words, God loved His yet FUTURE Son BEFORE God RESTORED the earth that became void and empty in Genesis 1:2.

God appointed 7 days as a “trial” to judge Satan and the fallen angels.

The enemy blasphemed God’s name or God’s character by Lucifer falsely accusing or blaming God for the evil in the universe.

God then told Lucifer that He created him perfect and the Lucifer corrupted himself.

So, to clear His name, God sat down together with the Elohim as set some rules.

God said to the Elohi, Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.

God started first and created Adam and Eve in His own image. All was perfect and man obeyed God;s one commandment.

Then God allow Satan to tempt His new creation to see if Satan could make man in is own image and after his likeness to disobey God’s command to not eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

Satan succeded, which God knew that he would DECEIVE and trick man to sin. And Satan deceived Eve to disobey God and Adam listened to Eve to also eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

But God already had in His MIND a plan of a Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

But the thing that I want you to see right now is that everything that Jesus is or has was GIVEN to him by his God and Father, the ALMIGHTY God.

#3. 1 John 5:7,8.

Now, there is much controversy over verse 7 by many Bible scholars through the years, as to whether or not the last part of verse 7 was added to some Greek manuscripts or whether it was taken away from other Greek manuscripts.

But most Bible scholars today have come to agree that 1 John 5:7 was ADDED or inserted around 200 AD as a commentary or a note explaining what that particular translator believed the original text was saying.

However, it was not until the 17 century that these words in verse 7 were added to a Greek manuscript translated FROM a Latin manuscript.

But the first comments as noted around 200 AD was around the same time when the doctrine of the Trinity began to get a strong foothold in Christianity, but ALSO was very heavily debated as to who Jesus truly was.

And then it was added to this debate as to who the Holy Spirit truly was.

The forming of the doctrine of the Trinity took many centuries even AFTER it was made an official teaching by the council of Nicaea in 315 AD.

Let us read this passage of Scripture as it is widely known today particularly in the King James Version of the Bible, and then we will take a closer look at the reason why many Bible scholars agree that this verse was ADDED to the original manuscript at first as an INSERTED NOTE explaining the text.

But it was then copied as being part of the original text when the Latin Vulgate translation was made by the Roman Catholic Church.

The first Latin Vulgate translation or when LATIN first began to be used in writing books of the Bible was around 200 AD by a Christian writer named Tertullian.

Latin was only used and understood by the well educated.

And for that reason, it is my OPINION, as well as the opinion of others, that the Roman Catholic Church began using Latin so the common people could not understand what the Bible was saying.

That way, the leaders of the Roman Catholic Church could control the many interpretations that were arising by dogmatically TELLING people what they were to believe whether it was correct or not.

Again, the words in 1 John 5:7 were not officially added to the Latin Vulgate until the 17 century, which was then translated to a Greek manuscript that is now called the Textus Receptus which means the universally accepted text.

The word Catholic means UNIVERSAL and THEY wanted a UNIVERSALLY accepted Greek manuscript, so they created one, which added the words found in 1 John 5:7 in the King James Version.

Please read 1 John 5:1-13 from the KJV.

“Whosoever believes that Jesus is THE CHRIST is born of God: and every one that loves him that beget loves him ALSO that is BEGOTTEN OF him. (Meaning that we love one another who are born of God, but also that we must love the only begotten SON OF Almighty God the Father to truly show that we do indeed love the Father.

But the main point that I want you to see now is HOW many times the word of TRUTH teaches us that we must believe that Jesus is the SON of Almighty God.

Also, notice how many time Jesus is called Christ.

Again, the word Christ means the ANOINTED ONE of Almighty God,

And that means that the Father DWELT in Jesus by sending His very own self-same SPIRIT down from heaven to DWELL is His human SON, Jesus

This first ANOINTING of Jesus took place when Jesus was baptized, And God anointed His Son with a PORTION of His Spirit to EMPOWER his Son to DO the WORKS that He asked him to do.

And that is when the God and Father of Jesus SENT His SON OUT into the world.

The second anointing of Jesus was after the cross and resurrection. That is when it pleased the Father that all of the FULLNESS of Deity should dwell in him bodily)

1 John 5:2. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

1 John 5:3. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

1 John 5:4. For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.

1 John 5:5. Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the SON OF God?

1 John 5:6. This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus CHRIST; (Or Jesus the ANOINTED ONE) not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that bears witness, because the Spirit is truth.

1 John 5:7. For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three ARE ONE. (The SAME Greek word that is translated as ARE ONE here in verse 7 is the SAME EXACT Greek word “HEIS of HEN” used in verse 8, but it is TRANSLATED DIFFERENTLY as these three AGREE in ONE as opposed to these three ARE ONE in verse 7 which was ADDED to the original Greek text. Now, after much research I myself have come to the conclusion that this was done by those who were pushing their man made doctrine of the Trinity. And, therefore, with great BIAS deliberately translated the Greek word “HEIS or HEN” differently because they wanted verses in the Bible to support their doctrine of the Trinity)

1 John 5:8. And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three AGREE in ONE. (This phrase “AGREE in ONE” is translated from the SAME Greek word “HEIS or HEN” that is used in John 10:30 where Jesus said, “I and my Father ARE ONE.” In other words, John 10:30 could and SHOULD have been translated as “I and my Father AGREE in ONE.” And if it was translated as agree in one then there would be absolutely NO contradiction or misunderstanding of what Jesus truly meant when he said, “I and my Father HEIS or HEN.” To ME, it was the BIASED translators who wanted more support for their man-made doctrine of the Trinity who translated the Greek word “HEIS or HEN” in John 10:30 DIFFERENTLY than they did in 1 John 5:8. It is the SAME Greek word in ALL these verses of Scripture we are studying)

1 John 5:9. If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he hath testified of his SON. (I myself have not found anywhere in the Bible where Almighty God testifies that his Son Jesus is the ALMIGHTY God HIMSELF.

But I do find several places where Almighty God the Father has HIGHLY EXALTED his SON Jesus to BECOME a GOD to reign beside his God and Father at the Father's right hand on his Father's throne for 1000 years in the world to come.

You can choose to receive and believe the man-made doctrines of MEN if you desire/

But as for me, I am going to believe the witness of GOD, the word of TRUTH, by rightly dividing the word of God so that what I interpret to be the truth that it AGREES with the WHOLE word of Almighty God.

And to me, the doctrine of the Trinity definitely does NOT AGREE with the WHOLE word of God.

1 John 5:10. He that believes on the SON OF God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his SON.

1 John 5:11. And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his SON.

1 John 5:12. He that has the SON has life; and he that hath NOT the SON OF God has NOT life.

1 John 5:13. These things have I written unto you that believe on the NAME of the SON OF God; that you may know that you have eternal life, AND that you may believe on the NAME of the SON OF God.”

This verse is literally saying that these things are written to those who ALREADY BELIEVE that on the NAME of Jesus as being the SON OF God, so that they may KNOW that they have the PROMISE of ETERNAL LIFE abiding in them, which will encourage them so that they will CONTINUE to believe on the NAME of the SON of God.

Here are several translations of the Bible that have either deliberately OMITTED the last part of verse 7.

Or they have chosen NOT to ADD something that was NOT in the manuscript from which they were translating.

The truth of the matter is that there are over 5000 Greek manuscripts and ONLY 8 of these manuscripts have the ADDED last portion of verse 7 where the vast majority of these Greek manuscripts have nothing in them that say, “the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one”.

But rather, the VAST majority of these 5000 Greek manuscripts simple say, “There are three that testify:”
