Book 6 Chapter 9.
Did God Prepare GLORY for ALL of Mankind?
Does 1 Corinthians 15:21,22 mean that ALL of mankind inherited a sinful nature because of the Sin of Adam?
1 Corinthians 15:21,22.
“For since by MAN came death, by MAN came also the resurrection of the dead.
1 Corinthians 15:22. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made ALIVE.”
The Roman Catholic Church teaches that ALL of mankind is BORN with the stain of sin “because of” the sin of Adam. And thus, church TRADITION teaches that we are all BORN with a sinful NATURE.
But that is NOT what the Bible ITSELF teaches us. For you see, Romans 3:23 teaches us that we have come short of the GLORY of God, BECAUSE we ALL have SINNED.
Romans 3:23.
“For (Or BECAUSE) ALL have SINNED, and come short of the GLORY of God;”
Now, if it was true that ALL men had INHERITED the guilt or condemnation of Adam’s sin, then that would mean that babies and small innocent children who do not have the ability to have faith in Jesus would perish in the lake of fire.
So to try to hide the ERROR of interpreting the Scriptures incorrectly that was made by leaders of the Roman Catholic Church, they simply INVENTED another FALSE doctrine, the baptism of babies.
Then later on they had to invent yet another FALSE doctrine about a holding place for pagan babies called “Limbo”. It is supposed to be a safe place for the babies that were not born to parents who were Catholic to grow up to be old enough to believe in Jesus.
Now, since I already have an in-depth study on the false doctrine of original sin, this chapter will be focused on what the phrase “for all have come short of the GLORY of God” means in the light of the whole word of Almighty God.
What is the GLORY of God?
And what does it mean by having come SHORT of the glory of God?
To answer these two questions, we need to go back to the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve fell SHORT of the GLORY of God when they SINNED.
If you remember, they were allowed to eat from ANY tree of the garden EXCEPT for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.
Genesis 2:16,17.
“And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of EVERY tree of the garden you may freely eat:
Genesis 17. But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, You shall not eat of it: for in the day that you eat thereof you shall surely die.”
And I believe that Adam and Eve did NOT eat from the tree of LIFE that was also in the midst of the garden. And it may have been right next to the FORBIDDEN tree.
Genesis 2:9.
“And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life ALSO in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.”
So to me, the “eating” is symbolic of the action of both, OBEDIENCE and also DISOBEDIENCE. And Adam and Eve fell SHORT of the RIGHT to eat of the tree of life, the GLORY of God by their act of DISOBEDIENCE to do the things of God.
Proverbs 11:30 teaches us that the FRUIT of righteousness is the tree of LIFE. And Revelation says that only those who OBEY the commandments of God will be given the RIGHT to eat of the tree of LIFE.
Proverbs 11:30.
“The FRUIT of the RIGHTEOUSNESS is a tree of LIFE; and he that wins souls is wise.”
Revelation 22:14.
“Blessed are they that do his commandments, THAT (Or in order THAT) they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”
And Jesus teaches us in Revelation 2:7 that those of us who OVERCOME, even as Jesus OVERCAME, will be given to eat or to partake of the tree of LIFE.
Revelation 2:7.
“He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches; To him that OVERCOMES will I give to eat of the tree of LIFE, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
One of the meanings of the Greek word that is translated as “of” means ORIGIN. And the origin of ETERNAL LIFE is Yahweh, the Father.
So, to me, the bearing of the FRUIT of RIGHTEOUS, which is OBEDIENCE to do things God’s WAY, is the WAY that leads to being made a PARTAKER of ETERNAL LIFE in the world to come.
Jesus said of himself in John 14:6, “I am the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE, and no man comes to the Father except by or through me.”
And that brings us right back to WHY all men have come SHORT of the GLORY of God, which is being made a PARTAKER of the DIVINE NATURE of God.
And being made a partaker of the divine nature like Jesus means being GIVEN IMMORTALITY or eternal life and entering into the CITY of God, the New Jerusalem.
Only those of us who are in Jesus Christ will be given the right to be made a partaker of ETERNAL LIFE at the coming of Jesus to MEET Jesus in the air to enter into the CITY of God.
1 Corinthians 15:22.
“For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all are MADE ALIVE.”
In other words, the Son of MAN, Jesus, gave glory to his God and Father during his ministry.
And as a reward for the OBEDIENCE of the human Son of God, Yahweh gave the Son of MAN, Jesus, the divine nature of immortality even as the Father has LIFE in Himself.
And also, according to John 5:26,27, God committed all judgment into the hands of His FIRSTBORN Son by GIVING Jesus a NEW NAME and MADE him Lord and King of kings over the earth for 1000 years during the world to come, according to Acts 2:36, Psalm 2:1-12, and Psalm 89:27.
And, according to Hebrews 12:2, Isaiah 58:8, Acts 2:28, Psalm 21:6, Psalm 17:15, the Son of MAN, Jesus, was given the promise in God’s word that his God and Father would GLORIFY him for his OBEDIENCE, even to die on the cross.
In other words, God SET a joy before His human Son to ENDURE the cross. And that JOY would be his REWARD, which was to be resurrected in the LIKENESS of Almighty God Himself. Let us start with Hebrews 12:2.
Hebrews 12:2.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is SET down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
The context of this verse is about us considering what Jesus suffered and the REWARD that he received for his OBEDIENCE to obey all of the will of his God and Father.
For you see, WE who are found to be good and faithful servants like Jesus shall ALSO be given the SAME GLORY that God gave to the Son of MAN, Jesus, according to John 17:22.
John 17:22.
“And the GLORY which You gave me (As a promise) I have GIVEN them; (As a promise) that THEY may be one, even as we are one:”
Now let us read Isaiah 58:8, which is a prophecy that promised the Messiah that he would be REWARDED with the GLORY of Yahweh his God and Father.
Isaiah 58:8.
“Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the GLORY of the LORD shall be your reward.”
Or the GLORY of Yahweh shall be you REWARD. But we still do not know exactly WHAT the glory of Yahweh is.
All we know for sure is that it is a joy and being exalted to sit on God’s throne during the world to come.
So then, let us continue reading the verses that I just gave reference to above toward the middle of this chapter a few paragraphs ago.
Acts 2:28.
“You have made known to me the ways of LIFE; You shall make me FULL of joy with Your countenance.”
The Greek word translated as “countenance” also means God’s PERSON, His expressed image, Yahweh’s presence and appearance.
In other words, we shall be made ONE with God and His Son Jesus EVEN as that Father and Jesus are ONE, according to John 17:11-26. Yahweh promised that He would only SHARE His GLORY with His ELECT and no other.
Jesus is the first human Son of God that was CHOSEN by God to be His elect servant to walk in RIGHTEOUSNESS, according to Isaiah 42:1-9.
And now, WE are the ELECT of God called to walk in love and righteousness to receive the SAME GLORY that God GAVE to His human Son Jesus.
Let us continue with Psalm 21:6 to see that the GLORY of Yahweh was promised to the Messiah as prophecy.
Psalm 21:3-6.
“For You prevent (Or more correctly, You go before) him with the blessings of goodness: You SET a crown of pure gold on his head.
Psalm 21:4. He asked LIFE of You, and You gave it (Or you gave eternal life to) him, even length of days for ever and ever.
Psalm 21:5. His glory is great in Your salvation: (Speaking of the SAME GLORY of eternal life that Jesus will give to us who are saved) honor and majesty have You laid upon him.
Psalm 21:6. For You have made him most blessed for ever: You have made him exceeding glad with Your countenance.”
Again, the countenance of Yahweh is to be in the PRESENCE of Yahweh, according to Psalm 16:10,11.
Psalm 16:10,11.
“For You will NOT leave my soul in hell; neither will You suffer Your Holy One to see corruption.
Psalm 16:11. You will SHOW me the path of LIFE: in Your presence is FULNESS of joy; at Your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.”
Now let us read Psalm 17:15 where the promise is given that the Messiah and us who trust in Yahweh’s salvation will AWAKE with the LIKENESS of Yahweh.
Psalm 17:15.
“As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with Your LIKENESS.”
And that is exactly what was FULFILLED. Jesus OBTAINED a more excellent NAME than the angels by INHERITANCE, according to Hebrews 1:4.
And the God of Jesus ANOINTED him the oil of GLADNESS or joy above his brethren or fellows to become a God under and subject to Yahweh, the Father, according to the same context in Hebrews 1:8,9.
The human Son of God was SET at the right hand of his God, on the Father’s throne, being in the FORM of God. If you have not yet read B-6 Ch6 What Does Philippians 2:6-8 TRULY Mean, then I implore you to read it next.
But for now, please know and understand that the Son of MAN, Jesus was anointed TWICE, once at his baptism with a PORTION of God’s Eternal Spirit, and again after the cross and resurrection with the FULNESS of the Godhead dwelling in him.

Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
