***What Does James 1:13 TRULY mean?
Here is James 1:13 from the KJV. “Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:”
Notice that God can NOT be TEMPTED with evil and Jesus was indeed TEMPTED in all points even as we are tempted with evil.
Plus, Numbers 23:13 clearly teaches us that God is NOT a MAN, and NEITHER is God the Son of MAN.
And, Hosea 11:9, Yahweh says that He is NOT MAN, specifically referring to the MAN, the Holy One in the midst of the people.
Therefore, Jesus BECAME a God AFTER the cross and resurrection just like the Bible ITSELF clearly teaches!

Did Yahweh Himself BECOME Flesh?
Let us begin this Verse Study by reading James 1:1-8. I will highlight the words and pronouns that refer to Almighty God the Father in orange.
I will highlight the words that refer to the Son of MAN, Jesus, BEFORE the cross and resurrection in yellow.
And I will highlight the words that refer to the GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus, AFTER the cross and resurrection in blue.
James 1:1-18.
“James, a servant of God AND of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. (Notice two different SEPARATE beings or persons, Almighty God the Father, and His now GLORIFIED human Son, Jesus, who He MADE both Lord and Christ AFTER the cross and resurrection, according to Acts 2:36)
James 1:2. My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3. Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.
James 1:4. But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.
James 1:5. If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that gives to all men liberally, and upbraids not; and it shall be given him.
James 1:6. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.
James 1:7. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.
James 1:8. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
James 1:9. Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:
James 1:10. But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.
James 1:11. For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and the flower thereof falls, and the grace of the fashion of it perishes: so also, shall the rich man fade away in his ways.
James 1:12. Blessed is the man that endures temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.
James 1:13. Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God CANNOT be TEMPTED with evil, neither tempts He any man:
James 1:14. But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. (This means that each person has their own particular acquired weakness that they can be tempted by Satan to give into.
In other words, I cannot be tempted to get drunk, because I despise the smell and taste of alcohol.
But to someone else, getting drunk is their Achilles heel, so to speak, their OWN lust that they acquired by EXPERIENCING with drinking and getting drunk)
James 1:15. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.
James 1:16. Do not err, my beloved brethren.
James 1:17. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.
James 1:18. Of His own will begat He us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.”
And Jesus is the FIRSTFRUITS of God, according to 1 Corinthians 15:20-28.
Then, WE who are in Jesus Christ shall become firstfruits of God at the coming of Jesus.
And then, the third firstfruits unto God will be at the END of the 1000-year reign of Jesus.
I will only quote verse 20.
1 Corinthians 15:20.
“But NOW is Christ risen from the dead, and BECOME the firstfruits of them that slept.”
And Jesus is the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD to be made in the IMAGE of the invisible God to become the FIRSTBORN of God’s CREATURES.
Colossians 1:18-20.
“And he (The NOW risen GLORIFIED Son of MAN, Jesus) is the head of the body, the church: who is the BEGINNING, (Of the FIRSTFRUITS, God’s NEW CREATURES) the FIRSTBORN from the DEAD; that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:19. For it PLEASED the Father that in him (Yahweh the Father’s FAITHFUL and TRUE WITNESS or MARTYR who gave his life to atone for the sins of the world) should all FULNESS DWELL; (So then, the FULLNESS of the Godhead BEGAN to dwell in the GLORIFIED HIGHLY EXALTED Jesus AFTER the cross and resurrection)
Colossians 1:20. And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by him, I say, whether they be THE in earth, or THE in heaven.”
The Greek word WRONGLY translated as “things” should be translated as the definite article THE, which refers to THE ALL in Christ upon the earth, and also the ALL in Christ who died and are in heaven.
The cross is Yahweh’s cross, as in, it was Yahweh’s PLAN of salvation to have a MAN whom He ORDAINED to die as an INNOCENT MARTYR by being crucified on a CROSS for the sins of the world of his own free will.
And God did that to RECONCILE the guilty by the RIGHTEOUSNESS of ONE MAN.
And the Apostle James clearly identifies the ONE God in James 2:19 as being the Father in James 3:9.
And almost all Christians know full well that Jesus is NOT the FATHER!
James 3:9.
“Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse we men, which are made after the similitude of God.”
So then, Almighty God the Father made the Son of MAN in His image FIRST.
And now we are being conformed into the IMAGE of the glorified Son of MAN, Jesus, to BECOME the eternal sons of GLORY to be LIKE Jesus.
In other words, we are waiting for the MANIFESTATION of the son of God, according to Romans 8:18-23 and 1 John 3:1-3.
Therefore, clearly seeing that God CANNOT be TEMPTED, and Jesus was indeed TEMPTED in all points as we are TEMPTED, then Jesus is NOT God Himself in the FLESH as church TRADITION wrongly teaches.
But rather, Yahweh HIGHLY EXALTED His HUMAN Son to BECOME a God to rule FOR Him in His NAME during the world to come.
And when the Son of MAN, Jesus, rules for 1000 years in PEACE without having any WARS, then Yahweh will JUDGE the world by the MAN whom He ORDAINED and raised from the DEAD, according to Acts 17:29-31.
Hebrews 4:14-16.
“SEEING THEN, that we have a great high priest, that is PASSED INTO the heavens, Jesus, the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. (Who is NOW the GLORIFIED ETERNAL Son of God made in the express IMAGE of Yahweh, the Father)
Hebrews 4:15. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points TEMPTED like as we are, yet without sin.
Hebrews 4:16. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
And Hebrews 9:14, teaches us that Jesus overcame the temptations to sin THROUGH the power of the Eternal Spirit, who ALONE is the FATHER that DWELT in His human Son, Jesus.
Hebrews 9:14,15.
“How much more shall the blood of Christ, (Speaking of the blood of the ANOINTED Son of MAN with the Holy Spirit and POWER, according to Acts 10:48) who through the ETERNAL Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
Hebrews 9:15. And for this cause he is the mediator of the New Testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.”
And Jesus was the FIRST human Son of God to OBTAIN his INHERITANCE of eternal life and his NEW NAME, which Jesus promises to write on us when we overcome even as he overcame.
Revelation 3:12,13.
“Him that OVERCOMES will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the NAME of my God, and the NAME of the city of my God, which is New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my NEW NAME.
Revelation 3:13. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says unto the churches.”
And Jesus OBTAINED what is more excellent than the angels by INHERITANCE after the cross, or WHEN he offered himself for our sins and was SEATED at the right hand of Majesty, according to Hebrews 1:3.
And WE are JOINT-HEIRS with Jesus to inherit everything the Jesus inherits, according to Romans 8:15-19, and John 17:13-26.

Once Christians, Jews, Muslims, and even atheists understand the REASON that Yahweh CREATED the Son of MAN, Jesus, was to have DOMINION over the work of Yahweh’s hands.
And after you understand that the REASON that Yahweh did that is to STILL His ENEMIES, Satan and the fallen angels.
Then you can understand that God made His human Son to become “a” Lord, “a” King, and “a” God, under and subject to his God and Father in order to JUDGE Satan and the fallen angels.
