Internship Program (STIP)
SIIT will be offering 10 scholarships to students from our partner universities to participate in the SIIT Short-Term Internship Program (STIP) between October 2024 and July 2025. These scholarships will cover living allowances and accommodation.
Nomination and Application deadline: May 31, 2024
Period of internship : 4 weeks or 8 weeks between October 1, 2024 and July 31, 2025
Important Notes:
- The scholarship will cover a maximum of 8 weeks, unless students choose to extend their internship without scholarship support.
Internships before October 1, 2024 are not available.
The Internship period should start at the beginning of the month (no later than the 5th) and finish at the end of the month. For example, an internship could be scheduled from October 3, 2024, to November 30, 2024
The duration of internship should last for either 4 or 8 weeks (equivalent to 1 or 2 full months).
You will not be able to change your internship period/duration, once you have been officially accepted to participate in the internship program.
During your internship period, you are not allowed to take vacations that would affect your internship program. You must follow the schedule provided by your supervisor.
Venue:
SIIT, Thammasat University, Pathumthani province, Thailand
Scholarship Coverage:
Stipend 4,500 Baht/4 weeks
Rental fee at SIIT International Residential Hall (excluding electricity and water fees)
*SIIT International Residential Hall is located at the SIIT Bangkadi campus which is 20 minutes away from the main campus. There will be free shuttle bus services between the two campuses.
Available quota: 10 Scholarships/ Academic year (1 Scholarship per program)
Students’ qualification
A student from SIIT partner university and officially nominated by the home university to SIIT
Bachelor or Master Degree students with excellent academic record (preferably ranked within the top 20 percent of the class)
Have good health and good conduct.
