Visa Information
for siit students
Important Notice
Extend your visa: Submit required documents to IA&CR at least 60 days before your visa expiration date. IA&CR will double check your documents and issue the cover letter addressed to the immigration office requesting visa extension.
Do not let visa overstay: It is highly recommended to extend your visa at least 2 weeks before its expiry date to avoid fines of 500 baht per day for overdue stays. SIIT provides transportation for SIIT students going to the immigration every week.
Do 90-day report : Report your residence every 90 days to avoid fines of 2,000 baht for overdue reports.
Apply for a re-entry permit : Before leaving Thailand, apply for a re-entry permit. Failure to do so will result in the automatic termination of your current student visa upon departure.
Cancel your visa: If you graduate or complete your studies at SIIT, it is essential to cancel your current non-immigrant ED visa before leaving Thailand.
