Visa Application

Please read carefully

• Before travelling to Thailand you have to apply for a student visa (Non-immigrant ED or Non-immigrant ED Plus) at a Thai Embassy/or Thai Consulate in your home country or country of residence or at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/

• Please check the website of your local Thai Embassy/or Consulate for up-to-date information about the process.

• On your arrival to Thailand, the permission stamped from the Airport/Border Immigration for a Student Visa will be valid for the 3 months (90 days). Extending your stay will be required when you arrive.

• Visa will be extended for one year or less than one year according to your study period in Thailand.

siit will provide the following documents for students:

1. Admission letter/Acceptance letter

2. Letter for visa application

   • AN OFFICIAL LETTER from Thammasat University addressed the Thai Embassy/Consulate request for issuing a Student Visa for you.

• For new students, please download the letters at the Google Sheet Guideline for New International Students. The letters will be issued after you confirm your admission.

• For current students or postdoctoral, please send an email to Ms. Chonticha at chonticha@siit.tu.ac.th to request to issue a letter for visa application for you.

• For full-time students, please choose "To study (Bachelor's degree or higher) (ED PLUS)"

• For exchange/external/internship, please choose " Internship (Curricular internship) or Exchange student"
