『タイムトラベルまでしちゃったジョンソンさん』

いくつになっても旅をしよう。 

旅が大好きなジョンソンさんは これまでいろんな場所を旅してきました。 

旅の思い出イコール人生の思い出です。 

ついに時間を超えた旅まで始めてしまいました。 

ジョンソンさんの旅はまだまだ続きます。  

ジョンソンさんは、旅をテーマに活動するMACHITOKIさんの 「ずっと旅人・いくつになっても旅人」というコンセプトをもとに生まれたキャラクターです。 

本作品はコラボレーションでうまれた、たかだみつみ版のジョンソンさんシリーズです。

Let's travel no matter how old we are. 

Mr. Johnson loves to travel, and has traveled to many different places. 

His memories of the trip are memories of a lifetime. 

He has finally begun a journey that transcends time. 

Johnson's journey is still ongoing.  

Mr. Johnson is an original character by MACHITOKI. The concept is "No matter how old you are, always a traveler." 

This work is Takada Mitsumi's version of the Mr. Johnson series, born from a collaboration.

浮世絵版画「葛飾北斎《富嶽三十六景 凱風快晴》をオマージュしました。

空の雲の描写は、下絵で形をしっかり決めずに彫り方で表現しました。

This is an homage to the ukiyo-e print "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji: Clear Wind, Fine Weather" by Katsushika Hokusai. 

The depiction of the clouds in the sky was expressed by carving rather than by determining the shape in the rough sketch.

 新潟県長岡市生まれ。東京工芸大学芸術学部デザイン学科卒業。

 東京伝統木版画版元 東京・高橋工房 勤務を経て  創作木版画家として活動中。 

また、イラストレーションやデザイン、展示の企画運営等も手掛ける。

Born in Niigata,Japan. Graduated from Department of Graphic Design, Tokyo Polytechnic University. 

After working in the publisher of Japanese traditional woodblock print, working as a woodblock print artist.
